1. -Gandalf. Because he's powerful and terribly wise. He'll also keep a realistic tone on things so we don't get too pleased with our "invincible" plans.
2. -Smaug. Because he can demolish the enemy armies with ease. Fire, Death... you get it?
3. -Bard. To kill Smaug afterwards, obviously.
4. -Captain Nemo, for the fabulously brilliant mind of the party.
5. -Mr. Bingley, because we need somebody cheerful and optimistic to balance everybody else out!
