*When you're in the middle of a sentence and suddenly blank out on the word you need*

"Agh! No! I need help! I can't think of this word!"

Sibling/friend/parent: "What word?"

Me: "It's, oh, kind of like (A), no, more like (B), and more specific than (D) but with connotations of (E)ish things, and not quite so precise as (F).."

*Sibling/other vaguely throws out words*

Me: "I said it's not that one! No, not that one either. Didn't you hear me say it wasn't that one? That one's too pretentious. That one's too dull. I'm almost positive it starts with w..."

*finds word finally* *screams word while running around the house* "AND IT STARTED WITH W!!!!!! I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

^ ^ This happens way too much.

*When you daydream a plethora of alternate endings for your book (usually tragic ones because x or y did not happen)*
