Hi, everybody!
Guess what? My church holds an extra service on Christmas Day. That means, you got it right, that my father basically preaches three sermons in one week. So after we get done with that extra service, what does he do? He goes home and sleeps.
As you see, we wait to celebrate Christmas till the following day.
So I just finished rooting through my stocking and eating breakfast. It was great; all the other kids got up at 6:30, while we three teenage girls slept till seven and we all teased each other about being early birds and slackers. Anyway... the younger girls all got these cute little hairbands with bows. My next youngest sister and I got "fancier" headbands, hers gold, mine silver, made like leaves linked together. So I kept having this little nagging in the back of my head about that headband, it was reminding me of something, and then suddenly Fellowship of the Ring was quoting in my head: "...was made like golden leaves linked together..."
I HAVE BOROMIR'S BELT FOR A HEADBAND!
And my sister has MERRY'S BELT!
Anyways. That was the total highlight of the morning so far.
