Nov. 9, 2010 -- Teusday

I finished my piano lesson and am now sitting in the nursery listening to L (a friend from church) play "O little town of Bethlehem". Guess what? I am only ten -- and small for my age too -- and (censored by later me who was far, far too embarrassed by my imaginary crush to let the world see it. The original read something to the effect of "I'm in love. There's a boy named (E) and I love him".) I have to help L with spelling so bye for now!

***

We are sitting in the car, waiting for Daddy to take us to the chiropractor. I had a great piano lesson, and then I went home with the C's. -- Here comes Daddy! -- So the C's ate lunch with us, like usual. Then me and L jumped on the trampoline and played Crack the Egg and L gave me wild horse rides. Then I made a bow for K and jumped with her and B (my brother). After I finished jumping with B, K showed me how to shoot a bow properly, and we had a lot of fun playing with our bow and arrows until it was time for the C's to go home. After they went home, I practised my piano assignments. I have a lot of fun assignments for this week, even though they're hard, and I have a whole week to practice.

We are going home from the chiropractor now. I am writing in Nell's Horse.

Nov. 10, 2010 -- Wednesday

Before we went home yesterday we stopped at Providence Farms -- good name for a farm isn't it? -- and Mommy got some veggies there, and then we went home to a supper of rice and fish. Today has been fairly quiet so far.

Nov. 16, 2010 -- Teusday

Well, I'll tell you about everything later. L's done with her piano lesson.

***

Well, for one thing, this is going to be a fairly weekly journal, unless something exciting happens that is not on Teusday. For another thing, I cant be very detailed 'cos it's lights-out soon, so I'll say that the usual things happened -- which they did.

November 17, 2010 -- Wednesday

OK, maybe this won't be a weekly journal. Because I just have to say that I gave Mercy piano lesson's today, -- no, I'm not kidding -- that we went to prayer meeting, that I wrote in Nell's Horse, was reading Heidi, and now Daddy's coming in to pray with us, so good-night!

I thought I'd skip a couple entries after this, but the next one is too good not to share.

Nov. 18, 2010 -- Thursday.

Good morning! Fluffy sourdough pancakes (that aren't sour at all) are cooking, and I'm organizing my craft center, so see you later! P.S. Wish I could share a pancake with you!

***

Mmm! Pancakes and milk make a good breakfast! Finished organizing my craft center, made C (my sister) paper dolls and had muffins for lunch. Think I'll craft something now in my clean, organized craft center in a clean, organized toy area!

This one is also too good to skip. I lived such a productive life.

Nov. 20, 2010 -- Saturday

Skipped a day, but oh well. Guess what? Yesterday Mommy gave me one of Daddy's old shirts, and I'm using it to make a nightgown for Chrissa(my 18-inch doll, named after the American Girl doll of the year from probably 2009. I absolutely adored American Girl dolls but never owned any of them, just drooled over catalogs.). It's beautiful, and it'll be even prettier once it's finished. Also, Mommy let me & Mercy pick out some things from the Giveaway bags. My sewing box was so full that I had to take the tray out, plus some extra cloth and my patterns. I made Chrissa some blue jeans with orange ribbon trimming the bottom. At last she has some pants that she can wear on outings!

Nov. 21, 2010 -- Sunday

Well, I took Chrissa to church in her Sunday dress that I made for her. Now we're home, and I'm going to do something quiet. See you later.

***

Well, there isn't much to tell now except that we went to church again, that I got a library book there, and that I'm reading The Hiding Place right now.

Nov. 22, 2010 -- Monday

Put elastic on Chrissa's pants, began hemming her nightgown, played a game with the other kids, and am waiting for Daddy to take us all to the chiropractor. Do you know what? V (my piano teacher) is leaving for Iowa with her family for Thanksgiving, so I'm not having piano lessons tomorrow! Instead, V is letting me pick 2 songs from each of my piano books, and I'll practice those for next week!

***

We were starting but we rolled over something in the garage and Daddy went to see what it was. He is back now. We are ready to go now. Hope was very sad that she had to go in her carseat.

***

We had pizza for supper.

Goodnight!

Skipping an interval of several months here.

Monday, Jan. 17, 2011

Man, do I have a lot to tell you.

We went to the ski retreat Fellowship Dinner. Afterwards there was a session, and then I went home with the C's! (It is explained in a prior entry that I was going to have a sleepover at my friend's house)

We had a bedtime snack of mint-chocolate chip ice cream, and then we got ready for bed and in bed. We talked for awhile and then we went to sleep. We had granola-and-yogurt, leftover pancakes, and O.J. for breakfast, and then me and K and A played Wii ® (yes, I included the ® mark) video games downstairs, and I made my own Mii. Then we made a doll wedding! Chrissa was the bride, Jessie & Grace were maids of honor. Jenny was the flower girl, and Sara, Ruthie, and Charity were the ones who tried to catch Chrissa's boquet. Ruthie caught it. We took pictures of the whole thing. I wish you could see them! We put the pictures on the computer, and then ate lunch. Mr. C, Mrs. C, and A looked at the doll wedding pictures and said that they were nice. After lunch we went sledding, but it was very cold and soon we went inside and made doll clothes. Then Mr. C drove me home.

On Sunday instead of Sunday School V did a presentation of her 3-week trip as a missionary assosiate in Uruguay.

Today we went to the D's.

Guess what? We are going to Aunt R's wedding! We are leaving Wednesday, day after tomorrow. I am sooo excited!

Good-night!

Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011

Daddy is dropping off milk bottles at church. He's back now! Soon we'll be on our way! My hands are very cold. Bye for now.

2:00. Been on the Freeway for some time.

That was the last entry in this journal. I picked up journal keeping again in September of 2011, in a different notebook, and kept at it quite steadily through three notebooks until December 2014.

Also, side note, once I get the motivation to make a cover I'm probably going to make a new random book. This one's getting... long.
