Setting: Winter Break is over new year has approach

The new semester started and so all new classes, we all decided to meet in the cafeteria so we can see everyone's schedule to see if we have the same classes or something. It was only Luke and I cause we both arrived at the same time so we were waiting on the others, I can't stop looking at the promise ring that he gave me it was so sweet for him to do I couldn't stop smiling.
"Wassup yall!" Elijah said.
"Sup bro bro." Luke said doing a handshake.
"Hey sis!" Elijah said as he gave me a hug and a kiss on the head.
"Hey bro, how was ya break?" I asked.
"It was real good, how about you guys?" Elijah asked.
"It was wonderful, going to New York is so beautiful around Christmas time." I told him.
"One day ima be up there checking it out." Elijah said.
Few moments later that is when Woody and Yazz both came.
"Baby girl finally back from NYC!!!" Yazz said.
"Hey Bry! Hey Woody!" I said.
They both said hey to Luke and gave me a hug.
"Damn you got married? or sum sum?" Woody asked causing me to laugh.
