Chapter 47:

Carrie's POV:

"Waaaaah.... Fishball! "

Lumapit kaagad ako sa isang cart na nagtitinda.

Pauwi na ko ngayon , at dahil may nagtitinda ng fishball dito sa kanto namin ay grab the chance na!  Ang dalang kaya nya magtinda dito!

Mula bata pa lang ako mahilig na talaga ako sa fishball.  Haha namana ko yata sa mama ko.

Mas masarap pati sya kapag medyo marami yung matamis na sauce kaysa maasim.

Bumili na rin ako ng isang cup ng fishball para kay mama.

"Manong sandali lang po yung bayad. "

Aiish! Bakit kasi ang kitid ng tahi ng bulsa ng palda ko!

Nang mahugot ko yung wallet ko ay ay may isang bagay pa na lumabas.

Pinulot ko ito at napakunot na lamang ng noo.

Yikes!  Di ko pa rin pala nabigay yung bracelet kay Caleb!

Napatapik na lamang ako ng noo.

Dinala ko pa , sayang!  Ilang beses ko pa naman sya nakita kanina!

Nang mapatingin ako kay manong tindero ay nakita kong ang sama ng tingin nya sakin.

"Woah!  Manong bakit po? "

"Bakit ganyan itsura mo?  Wala kang pambayad?  "

"Ay hindi!  Eto po!  eto po! "

As usual mukha na namang pang horror scene ang bahay namin.

Masyadong tahimik,  wala kasing mga katabing kapitbahay eh.

Ngunit ng buksan ko ang gate namin ay napatigil ako.

Ewan ko ba.  Parang may hindi tama.  Pakiramdam lang ba o may nangyaring di maganda?

Lumapit ako sa pinto ng bahay at nagulat na bukas ito.

Kadalasan mas nauuna ako umuwi kay mama kaya hindi ko mapigilang kabahan.

"Ma? "

"Anak? "

Agad na nawala ang kaba sa dibdib ko ng marinig ko ang boses nya.

Ngunit ng buksan ko ang pinto ay muli  itong nagbalik.

"Bakit-? "

Bakit umiiyak ang mama ko?

Nilibot ko ang paningin ko sa bahay.

Bakit nakaimpake ang mga gamit namin?

Justin's POV :

"You are such a disgrace to our family! "

I immediately close my eyes as I hear my mother's voice.

Those words that I dreaded to hear..

I guess they have been informed about the recent change of status in my relationship.

"You even have the audacity to show her off in the party of the Stewart's!  How dare you! "

I remained silent as I remember everything that Carrie and I have done.

I smiled.  Everything was worth it.

"Im telling you Justin Davis,  end your relationship with that wretch or you will lose everything that you have!  Starting off with you being a Davis! "

I clenched my jaw as I listen to her rants.

How I wish I am not born in this family.

"If you want to keep your name behave until me and your father go back there. Dont worry I'll make sure to bring along the rightful girl that should be by your side.  Your future fianc- too toot"

I ended the call before she can finish everything she's saying.

Talk about being behave.

I dropped the phone in my bed and placed both of my palms in my face.

Ever since I was a kid, they are always controlling me.

They never love me,  no one does.

All my life they trained me to be like them,  to be selfish, heartless.

Only thinking about what's best on our company and our family's name.

Just like a robot,  programmed to be perfect.

But those qualities are the ones that marred our relationship as a family.

I sighed and pick up my phone again.

It opens to my homescreen,  showing my wallpaper.

Me and Carrie,  together.

I smiled recalling how surprised she was when I captured her in this pic with me kissing the tip of her nose.

It was really fun teasing her.  Seeing her cheeks flush makes me want to tease her more.

She may not know it but I enjoy it everytime I am spending time with her.

Even when we were little.

I wish I could just push a button that will let her remember me again.

Remember the boy that she helped and save from being the monster his parents wanted him to be.
