Megan's POV:
There is only a few people that know that story.
The people I trust with my life.
My adopted family obviously.
Beth because she's my best friend.
And...
Jack Peacock...I don't know why he knows but I'm glad he does because he won't bother doing anything for my birthday which I appreciate so much.
I'm just laying on my bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking.
Thinking how well my life is going right now...
Thinking about the competition...
Thinking about my friends and Jack...
Knock knock knock...
At first I got really scared and nervous but then I realised that it's only Jack knocking on my bedroom door asking if I'm up.
"Come here!" I shout. He walks straight in and jumps on the other side of the bed that I'm not on.
"Are you okay?" He asks, after a while and takes my hand in his.
"I'm great!" I say in a whisper tone and we both face each other.
My vision starts to become blurry with tears only I don't know why I'm crying.
And smiling...
Happy tears?
A tear rolls down my cheek and onto my pillow and I just stare at Jack with a small smile.
"Hey, hey, hey! Don't cry! Please don't cry babe! Babe, why are you crying?" He asks all these questions while putting an arm around me to bring me close so that I can hear his heart beating in his chest.
"I'm happy!" Is all I say.
I squeeze him tight and he mirrors my action only tighter like he never wants to let go.
It's true...
I'm happy!
