Matt couldn't sleep that night. He was way too excited to sleep, but he had to wait for everyone to sleep.

Once Shiro, who usually was the one to take the longest to fall asleep, was out, Matt got out of bed, and walked to his sister's room.

He opened her door to discover she was also asleep. He lightly nudged her to wake her up. "Katie!" He whispered. "Wake up!"

She slowly opened her eyes, as she sleepily asked  "What do you want?"

"Follow me! Trust me, you'll like it!" Matt said excitedly. "And bring your blanket, it's kind of cold out side."

"Why do you want me to go outside? It's the middle of the night." Katie asked while sitting up and grabbing her blanket.

Matt walked over to Katie's window as he opened it and started to climb out. The thing was, her room was on the second story.

"Don't jump! That's too far of a fall!" Katie warned her brother.

"I'm not jumping." He said as climbed upwards to the roof, and disappeared from Katie's sight.

Katie walked over to her window as she looked upwards. "What the heck are you doing up there?!"

"Pass me the blanket!" Matt said as he put his hand outstretched to Katie. Doing as her brother asked, Katie passed him the large blanket she had. Than he said, "Come up!"

"No! I am not going up there. What if I fall?!"

"Give me your hand and you won't fall. I promise." Matt reassured her.

"Fine." Katie said as she climbed to the seal of her window and grabbed her brother's hand. He than pulled her upward and on to the roof.

Than they heard the window fall shut.

"Don't tell me the window closed." Matt sighed.

"My window never holds for long periods of time!" Katie said defensively.

"Good thing we brought a blanket, because I think we are stuck up here all night." Matt said as he climbed a little bit inward. Katie followed.

"Why did you bring me up here in the first place?" Katie asked.

"Because! According to my book, Kerberos should be showing tonight!" Matt said delightfully as he pulled out a pocket sized book, and flipped it open to a page.

"Kerberos? What is that?" Katie asked.

"Here, let me read." Matt said as he had the book opened to a page titled "Kerberos."

"Kerberos. A recently discovered moon of Pluto in 2024. Made of completely ice, and could possibly contain evidence of alien life. Has been seen through satilights and android, but can only be seen from earth every five years. The next predicted showing is November 9th, 2029. Nasa has plans to send actual humans to Kerberos around 2035 to 2037. The exact date has not been determined."

"Where is it?" Katie said, now sounding excited.

Matt looked back and forth from his booklet to the sky until he could determine the moon. Than he squinted at he pointed to what looked like a very dim star. "There!"

Katie squinted her eyes as she positioned her head next to her brother's. She than looked as his booklet and and back up. "I hope when they choose people to go to Kerberos, that they choose us." Katie sighed.

"Katie," Matt said looking at his sister. "We will be sixteen by then, we won't be old enough."

"Oh," Katie sighed in disappointment. She than leaned back on the roof as she pulled the blanket over her, when she started to feel some wind.

Over her head hung a constellation she knew and loved. "Hey, Matt. It's Leo the Lion!"

---

Shiro woke up to his door being slammed open abruptly by Samuel Holt. With the sheer sudennes, Shiro fell out of bed, scared.

"Shiro! Have you seen Matt and Katie?! They have been missing all morning!" He said worryingly. "Did they go somewhere?! Do you know if they ran away?!"

"They what?!" Shiro freaked out. That's one way to wake up. "They're missing?!"

"Colleen! He knows nothing!" Samuel shouted down the stairs. He than left the boys' room and started to head towards his wife.

"Where are you going?!" Shiro asked as he grabbed his crutches, and started to follow.

"We are going to look in the forest!" Samuel said as he opened the front door. "Stay here in case they come back!"

Than he heard the door shut.

Silence.

Shiro didn't even have time to comprehend what was going on. He than took time to process. Mr. and Mrs. Holt are panicked. He was home alone. They went to the forest, because Matt and Katie went missing.

MATT AND KATIE WENT MISSING?!

What if they were kidnapped? What if they ran away? What if they're hurt?

Shiro sat down on the couch as he tried to relax. "Just calm down, and wait in case they come back." He whispered to himself.

---

Katie woke up with a kinked neck and an aching back. Man, sleeping on the roof was so uncomfortable. She pushed the blanket onto Matt as she stood up and stretched her limbs.

She stood up, she could see their back yard, and the tops of the trees perfectly. Even though they owned a two story house, it was a nicer home, so the distance to the ground seem way more than just two stories.

As she looked downward towards her yard, she saw her parent walking to the forest. "MOM!" She screamed. "DAD! HELP!"

Nothing.

Of course they wouldn't be able to hear them. She would be surprised if they could even see them due to the very slight slope of the house. I mean, they probably could if she stood by the edge, but there was no way she would do that.

They messed up.
