Katie and Matt ate Mac and Cheese on the dining room table, with their parent and Shiro with them.

"Food had never tasted so good." Matt said in delight as he practically enhaled his food.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it tastes way better than the rubber on the roof." Katie mocked.

At first Matt nodded in confirmation, but than he froze realizing how embaressing that sounded.

"You guys ate the rubber on the roof?" Shiro asked.

"Nope." Katie said. "Just Matt."

"I was hungry!" Matt said defensively as he folded his arms. "Despet times call for despret measures!"

"Well at least I know my son is resourceful." Samuel said as he let out a laugh with her daughter, Katie.

She saw the smile on their faces, and felt the joy of a reunited family, again. She smiled as her heart was filled again. She sighed as she said, "I don't what I would do if I lost you all forever."

Katie looked at her mother with a curious face, than she let out a huge smile. "Don't worry mom. I wouldn't leave forever. I will always come back, no matter what." She than got out of her seat as she hugged her mother.

"I know sweetie." Colleen sighed as she embraced her daughter. "I know."

---

Katie looked at her clock as she sighed.

9:47 am. January 12th, 2030.

It was a Saturday, and she had just woken up. Honestly, she would've went back to bed that is until...

"KATIKAT!" Her brother called. She sprang up in surprise and fell on her floor.

"Stop calling me that." She grunted as she got off her floor.

"KatiKat."

"No." Katie said as she stood up and looked at her brother.

"Mom, wants you to get ready." Matt said.

"For what?" She questioned.

"For the eye doctor. We have an appointment today." He informed his sister.

"On a Saturday?" Katie complained. "I want to sleep some more."

"Well, it's not my fault you stayed up late woking on whatever."

"Its a laptop. Since Takashi broke my other one months ago, I have had to start from literal scratch. Luckily, I was able to use some of--"

"I don't care. Get ready. We have to leave in like..." He paused. "Thirty minutes."

"Fine. Now can you leave my room?" Katie asked.

"Sure." Matt than slowly closed the door, but before it was completely closed he said. "KatiKat." Than he closed the door and ran away, laughing.

"Uggh!" She grunted. "Stop calling me that!"

During Christmas, Katie had received a Kit Kat in her stoking. She grabbed it, but when she tried to read it, she pronounced it as Kati Kat, because she couldn't read it correctly.

Ever since than, that was what her brother had been calling her. It was also the reason she was going to the eye doctor today. Her mother just though she might need some glasses, for she and her brother had been getting some words incorrect.

---

As they sat in the waiting room, Matt looked down the hall was and saw some weird looking machines and tools. Ones that started to scare him a little.

Katie, had started to pick up on Matt's odd behaviour and said, "I heard, in order to find out what glasses you need, they rip you eye out and examine it."

Matt turned to his sister with a scared face. "R-really."

"Yup!" Katie smiled. "Than they place it back in with gorilla glue."

Matt than turned to his mother. "Hey mom? Can I go home? I don't want to get glasses anymore."

Katie than started to laugh hard. Colleen than turned to her daughter and frowned. "What did you tell him?"

"Nothing!" Katie replied.

"That the eye doctor removes you eye ball to find the glasses you need, and then put it back using gorilla glue." Matt answered.

Colleen sighed. "I though only older siblings did that kind of thing to their younger siblings, not twins."

Katie laughed harder. "I'm just kidding Matt. I don't know what they do, but I am pretty sure they don't take out your eye ball."

Colleen put on a straight face and said, "Yeah they do. You got it correct, Katie."

Both Katie and Matt's eyes widened as they stared at their mother. "What!?" Katie exclaimed.

"Take us home, Mom! I don't want to stay!" Matt begged.

"Katie and Matthew Holt?" A doctor called. The twins froze. Colleen stood up and grabbed her children by the hands. They both resisted and started to cry.

"Please mom!" Katie cried. "I don't want to do this anymore!"

"Take us home, mom!" Matt continued.

They ended up getting a couple of weird stares from the ladies at the front desk, but nobody questioned the childrens' reactions.

Half way through the examination, Matt asked to eye doctor, "When are you going to pull my eye out?"

The doctor chuckled. "I'm not going to pull your eye out. Where did you get that idea?"

"I was joking." Colleen said. "None of that was true."

"Mom! I hate it when you are joking!"

---

After the examination, both Matt and Katie needed a pare of glasses. Katie, though, asked to get contacts instead. Wasn't too fond of her child wearing contacts, but didn't want to be that kind of mom who forced everything.

"I'll make you a deal, if you make it into the Garrisons in seventh grade, I'll let you have contacts, but until than, why don't you stick with glasses."

Katie's face lit with delight. She had always wanted to make it in the Garrisons anyway. This was just another motivation. "Deal!" She said joyfully.

Matt looked at her and said, "Well, I think glasses are cool. I don't need any contacts."

"You do you." Colleen told her other child.

Sorry for the long pause of updates. I was having some medical issues. Nothing major though. It was just something that wouldn't allow me to write for a time. I hope you understand.
