Chapter Thirty-Nine

Lindsey stared at the ceiling dull with pain. Her face was tear stained and puffy. Hannah was on her mind a lot and it was painful every time she thought of her. Maybe she just needed to visit the girl again. She found herself visiting Hanna often. She knew she had to pick up James in two hours, so maybe she could do it after picking him up.

She then heard her phone start to ring. Lindsey sat up as she let out a long sigh. She reached over to her side table as she grabbed her phone. She looked at the phone as it said Garret was calling her. She knew he was at work so this was probably important. "Hello?" She spoke up, trying to sound as if she hadn't been crying earlier.

"Lindsey?" She heard her husband's voice on the other end.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Pull up the internet." He immediately said.

Lindsey furrowed her brows. "Why?"

"Just do it. It's everywhere." He told her.

"Okay fine." Lindsey put the phone on speaker as she pulled up the internet as stories just in her suggested new exploded with titles like "Katie Holt alive?!", "The Holt miracle", and others similar to those. 

Lindsey was surprised. "Katie Holt is alive?" She asked her husband.

"Yes, Lindsey. She is." He answered.

"That's nice." She smiled softly.

"Lindsey, that isn't it." Garret replied. "Do you really think I'd call you in the middle of work about that?"

"I don't know." She shrugged.

"I received a call from the hospital." Garret added.

"What did they say about Hannah?" Lindsey immediately asked, worried. "What happened?"

"She woke up." Garret answered. "They found out her identity and even already have her family with her."

Lindsey let out a sigh of relief, about to cry tears of joy. "That's amazing..."

"Lindsey, they told me who she was." Garret replied, serious.

"What's her name? Like her full name." Lindsey asked, eager.

"Katie Holt."
