She stood up again, wiping any tears that fell. She then walked. No direction. No idea where she was going. No idea where she'd end up. She just walked...
And walked...
And walked...
And walked...
And just walked...
She walked even when her feet became tired. All there was for miles were darkness. She couldn't see her feet or her hands. She couldn't see an end or a start. She couldn't see anything. She wanted it to end.
Would this end? Was she going to be locked here forever in and endless torment of nothingness? Would this be her fate, to be forever confused and tortured by no way of finding any answers? Would she be forever alone and with no one to talk to, no one to remember, no one to miss?
Why was she stuck? Why would someone to such a thing? What was the purpose of life if you can't remember any of it? She lived, she probably died, and she remembers nothing except that man and name she was so called, Hannah...
She wanted a light. She wanted a place to be. She wanted to know.
But maybe that won't happen. Maybe she can't have it. Maybe... she doesn't deserve it. What if it was all stripped away from her because she wasn't worthy enough? If so, would she be given a chance to re-do?
What if someone remembered her? What if someone was sad because she was gone? What if they lived thinking she remembers them? What a horrible thing that'd be! She'd feel horrible!
But she can't do anything about it...
She laid down on the ground. What was the use of heading forward? There was no end. There was no light. Might as well give up.
She felt a tear roll down her eye. She hated loneliness. She hated confusion. She hated darkness.
She hated ignorance...
Then she felt some place a hand on her shoulder.

"Garret! I thought you'd be home by now!" Garret heard his wife exclaim through the phone.
He let out a sigh. "Lindsey, I'm at the hospital. Please calm down. I'm not sure when I'm coming home."
"The hospital?! Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" She immediately replied.
"Yes, I'm fine." He answered. "When I was passing the woods, I found a girl. She was being attacked by foxes. I got her to the hospital, I'm just gonna stay until I find out she's okay. She's unidentified so until they can identify the girl, I'm there mode of contact. So until they can stabilize her, I have to stay here." He explained calmly.
"I'm coming." She replied.
"What? What about James?" He asked.
"I'm taking him too." She answered.
"Are you sure?" He questioned.
"I'm sure. What hospital are you at?" She asked.
"Pines City Children's Hospital."
"Be there in five minutes."
---
Garret waited patiently in the waiting room. The little girl was in critical condition. Of course it would be a while before she was stabilized.
He tapped his foot as he was incredibly bored. He had absolutely nothing to do. He looked around the room. The walls were a light brown as the chairs were a dark blue. There was no one waiting here with him. But then again, not a lot of people are waiting in this section everyday. So right now, it was only him.
He let out a sigh as he started tapping his foot. The sounds slight echoed, only enphasizing the fact that he was alone.
Questions started to pop into his mind. Who was Hannah's family? Did they miss her? Does she even have a family? How'd she even end up in this situation? Only she would know.
A nurse then walked in the room and sat down in front of Garret. "Mr. Bentifield? I'd like to ask some questions about Hannah."
Garret nodded. "What do you want to know?"
"First, where did you find her?" She asked.
"Some woods near Clements street. Well the section that's a dirt road." He told.
"Have you ever met this girl before?" She asked.
"Never."
She wrote down a few things, then asked, "How'd you know her name was Hannah? What identified that?"
He pulled the pencil out of his pocket as he handed it to the nurse. "I found it in her pocket. I have no idea what her last name is."
The nurse examined the pencil before handing it back. "Okay, so Hannah's still in surgery, and but her vitals say she'll make a swift recovery." She stood up as she said, "We'll inform you when the surgery over."
He nodded. "Thank you."
"I have a personal question." The nurse added.
"And what's that?" He asked.
"Why are you paying for it even though she has no relation to you?" She asked sincerely.
"She has a family somewhere."
