Charles was scared. He knew this was the right thing to do, but he didn't want to talk to an adult alone. What if the girl he saw wasn't even Katie Holt? He took a deep breath as he opened the door to the counselor's office. Inside, stood a tall man in a blue polo, khaki pants, and thin wired glasses. He looked like he belonged to the school, but Charles didn't recognize him.

"Have a seat." The man spoke up as he motioned Charles to the seat in front of the desk.

Charles nodded as he took a seat. He looked up to the man and nervously greeted him. "H-hello." He stuttered. Charles had social anxiety.

"Hello. I know I'm not your school counselor. They let me borrow the place for a bit. My name is Officer Newalt. Now, may I ask, could you describe this girl you saw after school?" He asked.

"W-well... she um... had light brown hair. It was about... h-half way down her back... I think. She had glasses, and a green or uhh.... white shirt. I couldn't tell to well... She was looking at our team... or something, like from a far... But than these guys... I don't know who they were except one, and they chased her out of view... And that's all I saw." Charles answered.

He was writing all down. Every detail. He than looked up and asked, "Who was the guy you did know?"

"His name was uhh... Brandon May." Charles replied.

"Where did they chase her to?"

"Back towards the school building, towards the dumpsters."

"The dumpsters?" He asked.

Charles nodded. "Yes, s-sir."

"Thank you. That's all I need." He smiled a bit as he grabbed his backpack. "You may go back to class."

Charles quickly left. The investigator smiled a bit. Finally, he head a lead. He headed out of the school as he headed to the dumpsters.

When he headed to the dumpsters, the first thing he noticed was a dried blood stain on the side of it. He than took off his backpack as he pulled out his tools and grabbed a sample of the blood. He than zipped in a bag and placed it in his backpack.

He sighed as he knew he'd have to check in the dumpster for any evidence, or the girl herself... He knew the school system had it dumped Monday morning, so if, heaven forbid, the boys had knocked her unconscious, and placed her in here, she'd still be here.

He than hesitantly, hopped into the dumpster as he began his searched. After quite a bit, he could safely conclude the girl was not here. Now, he smelled like the dumpster. It was bad. He got out as he felt like his search was not over.

He started to search around the dumpster, and that's when he saw another, and larger blood stain on the cement behind the dumpster. He again took a sample as he headed back to his actual office.

It was a confirmation, the DNA from the blood matched Katie Holt. But if that was her blood, where was she now?

He than called his partner as he said, "Hailey, we need the dogs."
