Garret waited in the waiting room for a while until he started to hear someone walking in the hallway near by. Well, it sounded like more than two. He then saw his little three year old son peak around the wall. Once his son saw him, he immediately started to run to him. "Daddy!" He smiled, he had black hair like his mom, and crystal blue eyes like his father.

Garret wrapped his arms around him once he came close enough. "James!" He smiled.

Then his wife came in, Lindsey. She had short black hair and dark grey eyes. Lindsey wasn't the tallest person and was much shorter than her husband, but Garret didn't care. She smiled as she saw the two.

"Guess what, daddy?" James smiled as sat on his father's lap.

"What?" He asked smiling.

James then held up three fingers as he said, "I'm this many now!"

"Yes you are." Garret replied. "Happy Birthday!"

"I'm so happy!" James exclaimed.

Lindsey then sat in the chair next to them. She looked at James and pointed to a little kids set over in the side of the waiting room. "Why don't you play?" She asked.

"Okay!" James exclaimed as he quickly headed over.

Lindsey looked at Garret and apologized. "I'm sorry for being short tempered today. It's just I've been so stressed and then the baby-" Lindsey was actually pregnant with their second child.

"I know. I know." He stopped her. "I'm sorry for forgetting James' birthday today. I have no excuse. I should've listened to you."

"Mr. Bendifield?" A nurse called. He looked up at her. "Hannah Doe is stabilized, but had fallen into a coma."

---

Lindsey stroked the little girls hair almost distractively. It was medium length light brown hair as it was very messy and unkept. Lisdey slowly and gentle started to unknot her hair. "I can't believe you just found this girl..."

Hannah had so many cords and tubes attached as the doctors predicted she wouldn't wake anytime soon, if even at all. She looked very ill and still as she lied in the bed. Her face was pale, but bruised and cut. Honestly, it looked like something else happened before the foxes, as they couldn't have done so much to her...

"I know... I wonder what got her into that situation..." Garret sighed as he held his three year old son in his arms.

Lindsay paused as she looked back at Garret. "Is it weird that I feel like I've seen her before?"

"You have?" He asked.

"I don't know... just the face seems familiar. But I've never met a Hannah that looked like her before..." Lindsey explained then looked back at the small child. Lindsey heart was for little Hannah, almost like her own child.

---

She immediately sat up. "Who's there!?" She exclaimed as she tried to look around. It was useless, for the darkness still overwhelmed the place.

She started feeling around for anyone or anything. "I felt you!" She exclaimed. "I know you are there!"

Her heart was racing as she was desperetly feeling around. She couldn't find anything. "Please!" She begged as tears pricked her eyes. "Speak up! Don't leave! I beg you!"

That's when she heard a soft voice shush her. She relaxed to the voice. "Please... Where are you?" She asked calmly.

"Oh my dear child, I think the question is where are you?" She heard a very angelic voice say. She sounded so soft and motherly.
