"Whoever thought that this double date is a good idea is total nut job. Oh wait. That would be my girlfriend, Trish." Benjie sighed as he drove to the restaurant where he was supposed to meet his girlfriend, Sinag and Badong for dinner.

"Masyado na akong maraming napanood na soap opera at pelikula and I know exactly what happens sa mga ganitong double date with the ex. Not that Sinag is my ex pero minahal ko siya."

He glanced at the bouquet of flowers he meant to give Trish.

"Yun lang yun. Minahal ko siya at kahit ano pang mangyari sa dinner na to, kahit ano pang makita o marinig ko, yun na lang yun." He said trying to convince himself although the sudden sharp pang in his heart told him otherwise.

"May Trish na ako at may Badong na siya." He added bitterly.

When he finally parked in front of the restaurant and walked inside, he took a deep breath and forced a smile.

"Babe!" Trish called and he went to her, giving her a kiss on the cheek and the flowers he carried.

"Hi." Badong said from behind him and so he had to turn to look at them.

Him and Sinag.

Sinag whose twinkling brown eyes he never forgot. Sinag whose bright smile clouded his every memory. Sinag whose soft hands and silky touch haunted his dreams. Sinag whose sweet cottony lips, he still felt on his.

Benjie reached out to shake hands with the other guy. A normal gesture which also signaled the beginning of a war that night.

"Sinag." He smiled lightly.

"Benjie." She nodded and he almost shivered at the coldness in her voice.

Dinner surprisingly went well with just a few chatter over great food. Except for the occasional smiles Sinag and Badong shared that caught his eye, nothing bothered Benjie that much.

Except, he didn't know Trish was watching him all that time and has devised a plan to get his attention and humiliate Sinag.

A waiter approached with a jar of Fortune cookies. The couple each picked a piece of paper, read what was written and did as instructed.

Benjie clenched jaw and balled his fists at the sight of Badong holding hands with Sinag, kissing her temple as she smiled giddily like his intimate gesture sent butterflies fluttering in her stomach.

"Ganoon na ba ngayon, Sinag? Nakalimutan mo na? Does he love you better? Does he kiss you deeper? Have you forgotten those nights we shared in the Lover's Cave, with your lips hungrily kissing mine like your life depended on it? Have you forgotten how your naked body felt against mine as we held each other tight, the heat from our bodies fighting the cold from the heavy downpour outside that sent us in that cavern in the first place? Have you forgotten how I felt inside you? How you whimpered and cried at the initial pain, how you moaned and sighed as the pleasure washed over you, how you clung to my neck while I lifted you to my hips and pummeled faster, harder and deeper into your core? Have you forgotten the heavenly wave of satisfaction when we peaked and came at the same time? Two years and I haven't forgotten. Paano mong nakalimutan lahat yun, Sinag?" Benjie painfully thought.

He then glared at Sinag with a look that said "That's it. Shots fired. My turn."

Trish picked a cookie from the jar and read. "Kiss the person you love and show how much you love him."

Benjie and Trish faced each other and just as their lips almost touched, Sinag had a little "accident" and spilled water all over her clothes, stopping the kiss.

She excused herself and ran to the restroom.

Benjie smirked and thought. "Bomb dropped. Target hit."

He announced that he needed to go to the washroom himself and got up before anyone else could react.

Sinag sighed. She looked at her distraught image in the mirror and nagged at herself.

"Hoy, Sinag! Anong inaarte mo diyan? Wala na di ba? Wala nang dating sa'yo si Benjie. May Badong ka na. Masaya ka sa kanya. Masaya kayo. Eh bakit affected ka na magki-kiss sila? Bakit?"

"Dahil mahal mo pa ako." Benjie answered from the door as he closed it behind him and pressed the lock.

Sinag was shocked and was unable to move or speak as he walked towards her, his intense gaze piercing through her until he stood just a few inches from her.

He raised his hand and tenderly caressed her face. "Dahil ako, Sinag. Mahal na mahal pa rin kita." He whispered.

Benjie slowly inched his face closer to hers until their lips touched and they kissed gently at first until she parted her lips and he slipped his tongue in her mouth. From there, it became a full on lip locking battle.

Their tongues pushed and rolled against each other, dueling for dominance. Their mouths drank each others taste and struggled for breath as they tried to satiate their unquenchable thirst for each other.

Benjie lifted her up and made her sit on the sink as he raised her skirt and stroked her thighs. She moaned as he let his kisses crawl down her neck and clavicle while she wrapped her legs around his waist, rubbing her clothed center against his groin.

They were lost in each other, taken back to that cold night in that dark cave in Pelangi, with the raindrops and the crickets singing about the love and passion they shared.

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK.

Another customer called from outside the door. The rapping sound shook them awake from their passionate trance.

Sinag gasped and rested her head on his shoulder, nuzzling in his neck.

"Tama ka. Mahal pa rin kita, Benjie."

He sighed and kissed the top of her head. "Mahal na mahal kita, Sinag."

They caught their breaths and fixed themselves.

Before they opened the door, they shared a hug and a promise to fix things so they can be together.

They quietly joined Trish and Badong and everything seemed normal... except for the lipstick mark on Benjie's collar which was Sinag's shade.
