Thai Me Up

M: Ayan okay na siguro. *sighs as she slumps down on the couch after making sure the whole condo was clean, their shelves are stocked with all of R's favorite snacks and dinner was cooked for when he arrives* Okay na to. Nakaalis na sina Oreo at haggardo na ako. Baka naman pagdating ni RJ lupaypay na ako. Paano pa ako kakapit? *giggles* Pauwi na yun! For sure malapit na. Kailangan ko nang magpa-fresh.

M: *checks her phone after it beeps, reads R's message* Hmmm... Okay. *sighs after reading the message that says he would be going straight to Laguna that night because he has to immediately deliver some of the items Riza asked him to buy in Thailand that she needs the next day, sends him a response*

Okay, Love. If you're too tired na din para umuwi, you can sleep there na lang ha? I'll see you tomorrow. I love you.

M: *immediately reads R's reply*

Thank you, Love. I love you more. See you. Wag ka magpupuyat ha?

M: *types and sends her reply*

Opo. Ikaw din. Ingat sa biyahe and paki-hug ako sa lahat.

M: *sets her phone down and stands up then walks to the dining room to put the food away in the fridge, keep the candles in the drawer and place the vase of roses by the sink*

M: *goes to the bathroom to shower, changes into her lace short nightdress she already planned to wear for her husband that night then crawls into bed alone to get some sleep, trying hard not to feel bad but the loneliness keeps stubbornly nagging deep inside her*

November 8, 2017, 11:00pm:

M: *wakes up to the smell of curry and spicy squid seeping through the gap under the door* What the? Bakit ganyan ang amoy dito? God! Didikit ang amoy sa kama! *jumps out of bed* Saan kaya galing yung amoy na yun? Wala naman kaming curry or pusit dito. Sa ibang unit ba yun? Sira na ba ang mga vents sa building na to? *marches out of the room, ready to pick up the landline phone and call whoever she can bug at that hour to remove the smell in their place, stops in the middle of the hall when she sees the kitchen light on and realizes the smell is coming from there*

M: *with heart pounding wildly in her chest, runs to the kitchen and gasps when she finds R humming a happy tune while plating the dishes he just cooked*

R: *turns when he hears her come in, drops the ladle he was holding, stares at her, breathless and mesmerized when she sees her standing a few feet away with her tousled up hair and sexy lingerie* H-hi, Love... *bites his lip to stop a groan from escaping and his jaw from dropping*

M: Love! A-anong... Bakit... *looks at R confusedly, blinking away the sleepiness and tears in her eyes*

R: Anong ginagawa ko dito? Bakit nandito ako? *chuckles* You didn't really think na hindi ako uuwi dito after three day away from you, right? Hindi pwede yun. Lalo na miss na miss na miss na miss na mmm... *hums in satisfaction as his wife's lips crash on to his after she ran towards and threw her arms around his shoulders*

M: *kisses R fervently, clinging to his neck and pulling herself up as he lifts her, wraps her legs around his waist*

R: *sprawls his hands on her back, on her waist and between her shoulder blades, pulling her closer as he kisses her deeper, walking forward until his knee touches the underside of the kitchen counter*

M: *rests her cheek on R's shoulder and nuzzles his neck while catching her breath after minutes of intense kissing*

R: *kisses the top of her head and runs his fingers through her hair as he hugs her tight* Gutom ka ba? Nagluto ako gamit yung mga spices na binili ko from Thailand. Tapos may mga spicy squid and Nori snacks diyan. May mga nabili din akong gold rings and jewelries for you, kakaiba mga designs magugustuhan mo pati mga silk scarves. Gusto mo makita?

M: Mamaya na. Hug muna kita nang matagal. *holds R tighter* Akala ko ayaw mo nang umuwi. Single ka pa naman. *giggles*

R: Uy! *chuckles* Umi-issue ka ha.

M: Hindi ah. Bakit naman ako makiki-issue? Hindi naman ako magazine. *laughs*

R: *laughs with M and lifts her chin up with his fingers so they can be face to face* Wala talaga ha? Hindi ka affected?

M: Hinding-hindi. Bakit naman? I would have said the same thing if I was in the same situation. Ang awkward nun kaya, di pa nga tayo umaamin.

R: Hindi ko nga kasi sinabi yun. Pinakilig lang ng host yung fans.

M: Sinabi mo man o hindi it wouldn't have mattered to me, alam ko naman ang totoo. Ikaw at ako, alam natin ang totoo.

R: Yes! Ang totoo na ako, si Richard Faulkerson Jr., na asawa ng nag-iisang Nicomaine Dei Mendoza Faulkerson, ay unavailable at nakatali na sa misis ko forever.

M: Sakto! *grins, pinches his nose* Di ko nga alam bakit issue pa kung umamin tayo o hindi, public health and environmental service pa nga ang pananahimik natin.

R: Huh? Bakit?

M: Kung umamin tayo bigla nang ganun-ganun na lang baka magkaroon ng mass hyperventilation, epidemic ng asthma at oxygen shortage sa Pilipinas. *laughs*

R: Oo nga kaya let's break things to them gently.

M: Tama. *giggles* Mas masaya pag gentle.

R: Mas masaya ba talaga pag gentle? *smirks and wiggles his eyebrows*

M: *smirks* Masaya pag gentle pero masarap din yung paminsan-minsan rough. *bites her lip and wiggles her eyebrows*

R: Uuuy! *grins, plays with the thin strap of her night dress before letting it fall off her shoulder, speaks in a low voice* Alam mo... *kisses her shoulder and starts trailing kisses up her neck while whispering on her skin* curious ako kung...

M: Hmmm? *moans as R presses a soft kiss on the sensitive spot just under her ear*

R: *traces her jaw with a path of fluttery kisses* gaano katibay... ang Thai silk scarves.

M: Ako din. *smirks* Gusto kong subukan yung... *whispers something in his ear that makes him excited and grin mischievously*

R: Ano pang hinihintay natin? Magsubukan na tayo!
