On The Road

July 2, 8am:

M: *slowly opens her eyes as she wakes up and finds R smiling as he watches her sleep while lazily running his fingers through her hair*

R: *smiles widely at M and scoots closer as he slips her hand around her waist, rubs his nose on her and plants a soft kiss on her lips* Good morning, Love. *kisses her again*

M: *giddily smiles back as she stares lovingly at R* Good morning. Ang aga mo nagising ah. Bakit di mo ako ginising? Gutom ka na?

R: *gazes back at M adoringly with a silly grin on his face* Hindi ako gutom. Wag ka na magluto, may pupuntahan tayo.

M: Saan?

R: Basta. Kahit saan. Free day today. I'm all yours. *kisses M's lips again*

M: Luuuh... I'd love that. *touches R's cheek and kisses him again* I love you, asawa ko.

R: I love you more, Mrs. Faulkerson. How about we start the day with a shower? *grins*

M: *giggles* Paborito mo ang shower ano?

R: Paborito ko kahit saan, mas gusto mo ba dito? *bites his lip as he slips his hand over her buttocks, squeezes it*

M: *giggles, pinches R's nose* Ang pilyo mo talaga. I don't want to start here. *grins*

R: Uy! Saan? *grins excitedly*

M: Well... Remember that new wooden step ladder we got para gawing bookshelf sa guest room?

R: Yes?

M: Gusto mo subukan natin kung gaano katibay yun? *grins*

R: Of course! Let's go! *throws the comforter away from them, exposing their naked bodies, jumps out of bed, picks M up and runs as he carries her to the guest room*

M: So? Saan tayo? *beams at R as she slides her hand over his hand on the steering wheel while they are driving on the expressway* Excited na ako. Ang tagal na nating hindi nakakapag-roadtrip, Love.

R: Actually... *looks at M and grins* wala akong plano. Can we just drive aimlessly to wherever? Okay ka ba dun? *laces their fingers together*

M: *smiles and sighs contentedly then leans her head on his shoulder* I'd love that too. *looks up at R* I'll go anywhere with you, Love.

R: *smiles, kisses her forehead then leans his cheek on her head as they both looked on to the road that will lead them to where they spend their unplanned day together*

R: This is a great day. *whispers as he pulls M closer while they cuddle on a lounge chair on the balcony of a private villa along the beach as the sun sets in the horizon, painting the sky with orange, pink and purple hues*

M: *lazily draws circles on his arm and shoulder as she snuggles on his chest, inhales deeply, the salt in the air mixed with his musky scent filling her lungs and spirit* It is. Too bad we have to go back. *sighs thinking of the day they spent driving aimlessly, stopping every now and then to buy food from sidewalk vendors, getting take-out from drive thrus, singing along to the music playing from the stereo, spotting the secluded beach resort, renting a villa, walking hand in hand on the sand, going in the water and running away from the waves that rolled to the shore, going back to the room giddy and sweaty, sharing a shower, talking, giggling, cuddling, kissing  and making love with just the two of them in their minds*

R: What if we don't? Dito na lang tayo. *nuzzles in her hair*

M: I'd love that but you know we can't. People are waiting for us and we have to plan for Dad's birthday surprise.

R: You're right. I know. *sighs* Let's do this again pag nagka-chance ulit tayo. *looks down at M's face*

M: *smiles up at R* I'd love that. *kisses his cheek* Thank you for this day, Love. I love you so much, Mr. Richard Faulkerson Jr.

R: I love you more and more, Mrs. Nicomaine Dei Faulkerson. Thank you for this life. Every second is magical when I'm with you. *sighs* Nakakalungkot lang that we have to leave this moment.

M: *checks the time from his watch* Oo nga but... not just yet. *slithers her body against his and pulls him by his collar, kisses him lightly on the lips* I think we still have time to kiss and maybe makeout and then maybe you know... *bites her lip and wiggles her eyebrows*

R: *grins* I'd love that. *leans in and kisses her lips passionately and hungrily* 💛🍃
