******** September 7, 10:30pm:
"Hello, Miss. Pwedeng makisabay." R whispers in a low voice on M's ear as they walk back to their rooms from the event venue.
It is 19 degrees, colder than the temperature they're used to in the metro, and a soft breeze is blowing. She looks around and sees that no one else except for those who at least already know they are an item are there. Of course, no one in that group knows they're secretly married. Four months later but they still want to keep that to themselves.
"Kasing gwapo mo ba naman. Sinong tatanggi?" M smiles.
R grins and slips his hand in hers and intertwines their fingers.
"Alright, guys, team OP na naman tayo. Bigyan natin ng privacy itong dalawa." DP shoos the team away from the giggling couple, pushing them in the opposite direction. She then turns and faces the two. "Pssst! Kayo! Ingat kayo ha? At wag papahuli."
"Opo. Wag po kayong mag-alala. Iingatan ko tong misis... I mean girlfriend ko." R almost slips up, earning him a hit of an elbow to his sidr and an icy glare from M. "Ihahatid ko din agad sa inyo, Ate Pat, bago ako bumiyahe pauwi." R says with a little salute.
"Dapat. O sige. Maiwan na namin kayo." DP tells them before leaving the two.
They quietly walk hand in hand deeper into the darkness of the shadows cast by the trees in the lush gardens of the country club. The fresh, cool, pine scented air surrounds them as the stars twinkle in the sky above them.
"Nakakainis ka." M pouts. "Boy Dulas ka talaga noh?"
"Sorry na, Love. Masarap lang talagang tawagin kang misis ko." R smiles and pokes her nose.
She glares at him but her lips start to twitch into a smile. "Nakakainis. Bakit ba ako kinikilig?" She pouts.
"Kasi love mo ako at masarap talaga pakinggan yung misis ko." He grins.
