Happy 2nd Anniversary, ALDUB Nation! 🎉

"Dy! Yung lunchbox ni Sebastian pakidala ha?" You yelled from the garage as we were getting ready to leave to attend our six-year old son's family picnic day at school while you buckled in our two-year old Athena in her car seat, hauled the bags in the van and kept Shelley, our Labrador, from jumping into the vehicle with us.Inside the house where I dragged the ice chest with one hand and balanced a tray of lasagna on one arm where Seb's lunch box dangled, it was a chaotic pile of toys on the floor, crayons and paper on the table, unfolded clothes on the couch and dishes on the sink.
It was a mess, far different from what my obsessive compulsive tendencies were used to before we met, but it was a beautiful mess filled with love and happiness.
I have never known true happiness and unconditional love until I met you.
I knew from the moment I first laid eyes on you that you are no ordinary girl and that my life will never be the same again.
I mean a girl you find at the side of the street in an ungodly hour, riding a custom yellow and black Ducati 1199 Panigale, wearing a little black dress under a yellow biker leather jacket and knee-high boots with a yellow backpack, is anything but ordinary.
For a guy like me who grew up following strict routines and standards set by my father, never willing to disobey and always followed orders, someone like you is a disaster.
I should've stayed away from you. If my grandma was there, she would've told me so but somehow, something told me I was meant to meet that girl.
I was riding my bike home. No, not the motorized one but the regular pedal type. Since the restaurant I own is only thirty minutes away from my townhouse in the city, I usually just rode my bike to and from work for exercise and frankly to avoid traffic.
You seemed to be having trouble with your ride, so I stopped to see if I can help because that's just the kind of guy I am. I didn't think you've been there long because you still had your yellow full-faced helmet on with the shield up. Yes, back then I already figured out your favorite color.
"Miss, anong problema?" I asked but you didn't seem to hear me.
You kept stomping your feet, kicking the rubber tire of your bike and ranting. "Kung bakit naman kasi ngayon ka masisira. Max, naman eh. Wala nang tao dito. Kanino tayo hihingi ng tulong?"
I cleared my throat and patted your shoulder to get your attention. "Miss..."
"Ay! Putangina!" You gasped in surprise.
You were quiet for a while with your back still turned against me.
"Miss..." I called again and took a step closer but immediately jumped back when you suddenly turned with a butterfly knife in your right hand aimed at my neck.
"Tangina! Kung hoholdapin mo ako, wala akong pera dito. Bad trip nga! Papunta pa nga lang ako sa raket kaso nabulilyaso dahil nasiraan ako. Kung si Max (your bike) naman ang balak mong kunin. Aba putangina! Magkakamatayan muna tayo." You told me feistily.
"Naku! Kung balak mo akong gahasain sinasabi ko sa'yo, mapuputol ko yan bago mo pa ako mahawakan." You said as you aimed the knife to my crotch.
I stood there with my arms over my head, frozen in both fear of the blade you so boldly pointed at me and enthrallment by your beauty. I couldn't believe the brave woman with sparkling brown eyes, button nose and luscious red lips standing before me.
