9 Needles

October 24, 2017, 3am:

R: *groans as he turns to his side and pulls M closer to him and snuggling on her neck*

M: *wakes up to R's soft grunts in his sleep as he nuzzles on her skin, she knows that's not a good sign, opens her eyes and watches R's sleeping face then gently caresses his cheek, frowns* Masama pa din pakiramdam mo? Wag na kaya tayo tumuloy? *kisses his forehead then carefully reaches for her phone on the side table to cancel the alarm they have set and is about to go off any moment*

R: *wakes up to M's movement* Love?

M: *returns to her previous position, hugs R tighter and gently rubs his back* Oh? Ssshhh... It's okay. Sleep ka lang. *touches their foreheads together, kisses his cheek* Sleep ka lang.

R: *groans, opens his eyes, whispers* Aalis tayo eh. Di ba? I have plans for today.

M: I know. Pero wag na tayo tumuloy. Hindi maganda pakiramdam mo eh. Pahinga ka na lang, okay? Dito na lang tayo. Aalagaan kita. *smiles and cups his jaw*

R: *pouts* Ayaw. Maganda pa naman ang panahon. Perfect mag-beach. I took this day off for you. For us.

M: Pero nga hindi ka naman pwedeng mag-beach. Okay lang yun. Next time na lang.

R: Kailan na naman yun? Hindi, Love. Kaya ko to. Hindi ko hahayaan na masayang itong araw natin.

M: Hindi naman masasayang eh. Magkasama naman tayo. *smiles* Buoooong araw. Tayo lang dalawa. *rubs her nose on his* Gusto mo yun di ba?

R: Siyempre naman. *smiles weakly, kisses her chin* Pero kasi...

M: Kasi... Matulog ka muna. Okay?

R: Okay. *sighs, presses a kiss on her lips and closes his eyes*

M: *smiles and closes her eyes*

5am:

M: *wakes up a couple of hours later and finds R is not in bed* Love? *hurriedly gets out of bed, quickly scans the room, peeks in the bathroom and rushes outside when he does not answer* Love!

R: *appears from the kitchen, already dressed to leave with a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a picnic basket in the other* Good morning, Love. Happy Anniversary ng unang pagyakap ko sa'yo na ayaw ko nang bitawan. *laughs but his eyes show he's still not feeling well enough*

M: *smiles* Happy Anniversary. *walks over to R and lets him kiss her on the forehead and cheek then takes the flowers that he gave her* Thank you, Love. Pero di ka dapat nagbubuhat nito. *gets the basket from his hand*

R: Ang gaan lang niyan. Kaya ko yan. Nailabas ko na nga din mga bags natin oh. *grins*

M: Hay naku! Ang tigas ng ulo mo talaga. *sighs and shakes her head*

R: *pulls M by the waist, pressing his front to her side and whispers in her ear* Gusto mong malaman kung gaano katigas? *smirks*

M: *giggles* Hoy, Faulkerson! May sakit o wala, napakaharot mo talaga. *pinches his belly*

R: *laughs* Bakit? Matigas naman talaga ang ulo ko. Tignan mo. *takes M's hand*

M: *gasps* Hoy!

R: *puts her hand on his forehead* Ayan oh. Tigas di ba? Ikaw diyan. Kung ano-anong iniisip mo. Ikaw ang maharot, Mrs. Faulkerson. *chuckles*

M: *glares at R* Oo. Matigas ang ulo mo at mainit pa din. *lightly smacks his forehead* Dun sa kwarto! Higa!

R: *gasps and feigns embarrassment by covering his front with his hand* Sige, Love, pero be gentle. *grins and wiggles his eyebrows*

M: *hits his arm and rolls her eyes* Ewan ko sa'yo. Pakalande! Matulog ka na nga baka sakaling pag gumaling ka na, matino ka nang kausap. Diyan ka na nga. *takes a step away from R and starts to walk away but R is quick to cage her in his arms again*

R: Matino naman ako kausap eh. Looooove... *pouts and frowns*
Tara na kasi. Pumayag ka na na mag-roadtrip date tayo. Sige naaaaa... *stomps his feet and pouts some more*

M: *giggles* Parang bata. You're such a baby, Faulkerson. *rolls her eyes* Fine. Sige na. Magde-date na tayo. Sayang naman ang in-effort mo na.

R: Yeeeees! *squeezes M and peppers her cheek and face with countless kisses* Thank you, Love.

M: Pero...

R: Pero?

M: Ako ang magda-drive.

R: Love naman eh...

M: Pag kumontra ka, wag na lang.

R: Sabi ko nga. Eto susi, Love. *grins and hands M the keys*

M: *smirks* Good. At!

R: At?

M: Hindi tayo sa beach pupunta. Hindi ka mag-eenjoy dun dahil bawal ka maglikot at mag-water activities. Hindi din ako mag-enjoy na inaalala ka.

R: Aaaw... Mahal mo ako talaga, Love.

M: Obvious ba? *raises an eyebrow*

R: *giggles* I love you too. *rubs his nose on her temple and kisses her cheek*

M: I love you.

R: So saan tayo pupunta?

M: Sa isang Wellness Resort sa Tagaytay. I think it will do us both good to just relax and spend the whole day in a serene environment while being pampered.

R: *smiles widely* Gusto ko yan. Basta magkasama tayo palagi sa lahat ng treatments ha?

M: Oo naman. Kahit ano pa yan. Magkasama tayo. Kahit 9 needles pa.

R: Yes! Thank you, Love.

M: Siyempre naman. Mag-asawa na tayo. Sa lahat nang bagay, sasamahan kita. *smiles and cups his cheek with one hand* Meron pang last.

R: Meron pa? Okay. Sige, Love. Ano yun?

M: Matutulog ka lang sa biyahe.

R: Aaay... Boring naman ng road trip na yun. Ikaw na nga magda-drive tapos matutulog lang ako? Kahit sound trip lang tapos di masyado madaldal. Please wag mo ako patulugin, Love.

M: *sighs* Fine. Kaya mong hindi madaldal?

R: Kayang-kaya! May paraan ako para hindi ako makadaldal.

M: Ano?

R: Gagawin kong busy ang lips ko sa ibang bagay. *grins and starts kissing M passionately* 💛🍃
