May 31:
That whole day was R has been trying to show M how much he truly regrets his actions and how much he wants to make it up to her.
Having barely getting any sleep the night before, wondering how she was in the other room with her headache, he kept carefully peaking inside their bedroom and checking on her.
At one point, he sat quietly watching her sleep then carefully left after seeing that she was okay.
That morning, he left a glass of water at her bedside table and a pill for her headache with a note that read. "Just in case."
She smiled when she saw it and feeling a little throb in her temples, took the pill "just in case."
M then went to the bathroom to get an early shower and finds a note on the glass door of the shower cubicle. "Warm shower lang muna, Love. Mahirap na. I love you." it read.
She obliged.
After her shower, she went to the closet and found her clothes have been selected for her.
"Long pants talaga? Tapos etong three fourths? Ano, Love? Heatstroke na lang ganoon? No way." M said and picked her own clothes. She kept the top R selected and wore some shorts to pair with it.
When she went to the kitchen R was already there and she could tell by the way he scanned her outfit that he didn't approve of her shorts but he didn't complain. He just sighed and offered her breakfast which he cooked.
They ate together or rather, she ate and he watched her.
"Di ka kakain?" She asked.
"Makita lang kitang busog, busog na din ako." He told her with his eyes lovingly staring at her and a silly grin glued on his face.
She rolled her eyes and him, holding back a grin and said, "Bolero. Daming alam." before shoving a spoonful of rice and hotdog in his mouth.
"Sarap." He grinned.
"Natural. Luto mo yan." She chuckled.
"Sarap ng laway. Nakaka-miss." He bit his lip and wiggled his eyebrows.
She giggled and blushed then shook her head. "Baliw. Bawal lumandi. Bawal mambola. Bawal magpa-cute. Ikain mo na lang yan. Eto pa." She said and fed him another big piece of hotdog.
As usual, she left their home ahead of him and then his text barrage began again with her phone beeping every five seconds. He made sure she felt how much he thought about her. She would respond to every five or ten messages and she would find herself grinning and giddy. "Lokong Faulkerson. Tinotoo nga. Ganitong-ganito din yung feeling nung naliligaw pa tong mokong na to eh." She shakes her head and giggles.
He sent her lunch, flowers, her favorite cake from a Tagaytay bakeshop and multitudes more texts the entire day.
Her whole afternoon and evening was scheduled to packed with work so she texted him ahead that she will probably be home late and he said he will wait for her.

R sits uneasily on the couch, trying to calm his nerves.
"Maga-alas onse na ah. Di pa ba uuwi yun?" He frowns.
