R was feeling better the next day. His body responded well to the medication he was given and was properly rehydrated. The doctor said he could be going home that afternoon if the tests show good results.

After hearing the good news, the first thing he did was ask Dad for his phone. DB smiled and handed it to him, never mind that his Junior threw a fit earlier like a five-year old for not waking him up when M came to see him after midnight.

He immediately dialed M's number with a wide smile on his face, eager to tell her the good news and hoping that she would agree to see him that day.

"Hello?" She answered on the fifth ring and he was was happy to hear the smile in her voice.

"Hello, Love. Kumusta ka na?" He asked.

"Okay naman. Ako ata dapat nagtatanong sa'yo niyan. Ikaw ang nasa hospital eh. Kumusta ka?"

"Nami-miss ka pa din." He sighed. "Pero... Sabi ng doctor okay na daw akong lumabas ngayon. Magaling na ako agad." He beamed.

"Talaga ba? Agad-agad?" She chuckled.

"Oo naman! Excited na nga akong makita ka eh." He grinned. "Mamaya?"

"I have taping today, Love."

He smiled. "Na-miss ko ding tinatawag mo ako niyan. Akala ko nakalimutan mo na."

"Of course not. Madrama ka lang." She giggled.

"So? Hindi ka pwede ngayon?" He pouted.

"Di ko pa alam. Kailangan tapusin lahat ng scenes kasi sa Sunday na tapos medyo na-delay ang sched kasi nga..." She paused and both knew what she meant to say after. "Baka gabihin ako dito." She sighed. "Medyo pagod na nga ako. I don't know. I feel tired today. Paggising ko pa lang pero I need to finish my obligations before I take a nice long break."

He sighed. "Wag kang masyadong magpagod, Love. Iuuwi na muna daw ako nina Dad sa Laguna. Kung hindi talaga kaya ngayon, bukas na lang tayo magkita, Menggay ko. Basta please, pahinga ka after ng shoot ha? Wag mo pababayaan ang sarili mo." He told her.

"Ako dapat ang magsabi sa'yo niyan." She said with a soft smile. "Wag mo akong alalahanin masyado, ikaw muna asikasuhin. Magpagaling kang mabuti at magpalakas. Wag mo ding pababayaan ang sarili mo."

"Para sa'yo, Love. Gagawin ko yan. Para mai-date na kita bukas." He grinned.

"Anong date? Walang date. Baka may makakita na naman. Just Friends lang tayo, remember?" She chuckled softly.

"Nagde-date din naman ang friends." He laughed. "Eh di kung makakitang magkasama tayo, kunwari nagkataon lang. Kung makita tayong magka-holding hands, inaalalayan lang kita."

"Eh kung magkayakap?"

"Naglalaro ng The Boat Is Sinking, group yourselves into two. Ganoon."

She laughed. "Ang luma ng The Boat Is Sinking ah."

"Uso pa din naman." He chuckled.

"Love... Wag na lang muna. Let's avoid the need to lie directly."

"Eh di wag nang magsinungaling. Let's just tell the truth."

"You'll get in trouble sa kontrata mo. I don't want you to have that. Kaya nga ako lumayo muna, kaya nga..." She sighed.

"Alam ko. Sorry, I brought it up. Di na ako mangungulit. Just be okay please, Love. Wag ka na malungkot." He said.

"I can't help it. Minsan nakakapagod na talagang piliting maging okay lang ang lahat." She said.
