Desire 2

Chapter One

It's been two months. Two months since I last saw Austin. Life has been really weird lately and I don't really know what to do about it. Over these past couple of months, I havent really done much besides lay in bed. I try not to be such a baby about the situation but I'd be lying if I said not being around Austin didn't hurt. It kills me. It's even worse now with the publicity from Rocco and Mike announcing his break. It made national news, which I thought was rather weird. The situation hurt a lot of people, myself included. It just did't and still doesn't make any sense. Austin's career was soaring and I had finally remembered everything. So why leave? It just sucked that no one knew but I guess there's nothing that anyone could do about it. The only thing anyone could do was try to move past this which was exactly what I was planning to do. I was starting college and I was going to move on with my life. I wasn't ready and I knew that but I needed to be and I would have to be.

I woke up around 9am Friday morning and threw my purple comforter off my body and headed for the door. I walked out to see Anna sitting quietly on the living room couch. I don't really know what had come over Anna to make her not be such a bitch but I'm glad that it happened. She actually wasn't a terrible person. I mean sure she was still superficial and rude but at least she was trying not to be like that as much as before.

"Good morning!" she greeted me.

"Good morning. Where's Matt at?" I asked.

"Oh. He said he had to go help some friends move today,"

"Oh." I replied, walking into the kitchen and retrieving a glass from th cabinent.

"Um, Camdyn," she began from the living room as I poured the coffee into my tall cup.

"There's kind of something I wat to talk to you about,"

"Okay. What is it?" I asked.

She soon appeared in the kitchen as I moved, gathering the things I needed to prepare it when she stepped towards me and stared for a moment.

"Okay. What is your problem?" I asked, holding the caramel creamer in my hand.

"Camdyn, Matt thought that I should do this by myself since we've become closer," she began.

I placed the creamer on the counter and turned towards her, squinting my eyes.

"Oh God, you guys are engaged," I spoke

She laughed. "No! But we are actually taking our relationship to another level,"

I stared at her, waiting for her to finish but she just continued to look at me.

"Are you gonna finish or not?" I asked, becoming annoyed with her.

"Right! Camdyn, Matt and I are having a baby!" she yelled.

I stood slightly startled, confused and worried.

"You and Matt are having a kid?" I asked.

"Yes!" she responded.

"Congratulations! God help that kid," I muttered under my breath.

"What?" She questioned,

"What,"

She laughed. "Anyways, we don't know the sex yet but I'm of course hoping that it's a girl and he's hoping its a girl but we are so excited!"

"I bet!" I stated.

"But on to you! You start college soon! Are you excited? Nervous? Worried?" she questioned.

"Yes," I simply replied.

"Oh gosh! I have to go! But I'll see you soon!" she yelled before exiting out the front door.

I turned around, confused and finished preparing my coffee and headed back ito my room to watch Crazy Stupid Love, for the 17th time this week.
