We awoke the next morning, disoriented and in the same position that we were in hours ago. I sat up, dazed and confused as to what happened last night. I glanced over to Drew who happened to be standing quite close to Cassy, whispering to her as if what he was saying was something he didn't want to disclose.

Cassy caught my glimpse and pointed back at me as Drew quickly turned to face me, worry present in his expression. Drew gestured for me to stand and follow him out, letting out a quick, "this conversation isn't over," to Cassy before we stepped out of the building.

"What was that about?" I laughed, struggling to maintain my balance.

"She was just being a bitch last night," he laughed, his voice becoming shaky.

I decided not to push it considering that I was exhausted and that I trusted Drew. I had no reason not to trust him. Did I?

We headed back to the car and drove began the drive back to Drew's mom's house. As we drove, the car fell silent for a while before Drew reached his hand over to mine, intertwining our fingers and reaching them to his lips as a kiss fell on it.

We drove back and headed into the house, fighting back screams from Drew's mom. We made our way up the stairs and into Drew's bedroom before slipping back into sleep as we lay on his bed.

**

It was our last day in California and Drew's mom had been rather quiet for the past couple of days.

Drew and I lounged by the pool as his mom was no where to be found. I lay on my back on one of the patio chairs in my purple bikini as Drew lay flat on his stomach before pushing up from the chair and announced he was going in the pool.

I smiled up at him before I felt a tug at my hand. Drew grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him, grinning as the sun shined down on his face.

"Pool time!" He shouted, picking me up by the legs and throwing me over his shoulder.

"No! Drew!" I shouted, laughter escaping mouth.

"1...." He began.

I playfully threw my fists against his back as I fought in an attempt to

"2...." He continued, walking closer to the pool.

"Drew! Seriously! No!" I laughed, beginning to kick my legs

"3...." He yelled, tossing my body into the pool as I fell into the water.

I felt the cool splash of the water against mine skin before bobbing back up to the surface to which Drew jumped in.

I felt another splash against my skin as he threw himself in and swam beside me. I wrapped my arms around the back of his neck as I laughed into his shoulder. I pulled back before traveling to the side of the pool and lifting my body up, grabbing my phone and falling back into the water.

"What are you doing?" He laughed, leaning his head back in the water.

"Underwater selfies, duh," I responded in a preppy accent as he sat up and made a face at me.

I threw myself underwater after switching the phone on video and hitting record.

Drew quickly followed, smiling beside me at the camera so I could just take screenshots later. Drew turned his face, his glasses still on and pressed his lips to mine as they moved with his before he pulled away and smiled at me as I did the same to him.

We heard muttering from above and returned to the surface to see what it was. Drew's mother stood above us, a stern look present on her face.

"Drew, Cam," she began, obviously attempting to hold back her anger, "can John and I speak to the two of you in the house please?"

She quickly turned around and headed back into the house. Obviously she wasn't suggesting it.

Drew pushed his hair back from his eyes and pushed himself up from the side of the pool, turning around to help me out.

We wrapped our towels around our bodies and walked into the kitchen where she and John stood. We walked towards them.

John took a deep breath and began, pushing his palms down onto the granite countertops.

"Drew, your mother and I have been thinking and we have come to the conclusion that we owe you an apology," he calmly spoke as Drew's eyes remained locked on his mom's eyes.

"Drew, I'm sorry. About everything. I'm sorry about not being there for you when you needed me and always putting myself first and I promise that I'm going to start working on that. I swear that I'm going to be better for you and for Colby and-" she spoke before Drew rushed over to her and threw his arms around her, embracing her in a hug as he apologized for all his wrongs.

I'm glad I had something to do with that. If I hadn't of mentioned it, he probably would still be feuding with her and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to stop that or at least, help him stop that.
