Technically, I didn't have to live on campus but ultimately I decided to. I guess I just figured that since Matt and Anna were going to need more space in the house, it would be better for me to just live here. Plus, I didn't want to be the one to have to go to the store at 3am and buy pickles and ice cream when Anna was going through her craving phase. Obviously Matt didn't think that was the case and tried to get me to stay but ended up just realizing that the decision was mine and that I was old enough to make my own decisions.

**

We packed up a rented U-Haul and headed toward the University of Miami since school started on Monday and I obviously needed time to unpack and set up my room.

Once we finally got there, I had Matt carry the heavy stuff in while Anna and I carried the lighter items. I was living in an suite style dorm with my own bathroom, which Matt insisted on paying for since I wasn't living at home and he wanted me to have the "best".

After everything got carried in, we stood silent in my dorm. It was obviously an awkward situaton for everyone which only got more awkward as tears began to pour out of Matt's eyes.

He let out quiet sobs as Anna walked towards me and the two of us stared at him in confusion.

"Um, Matt, you do realize that your girlfriend is supposed to be the sensitive one right?" I asked, nonchalantly.

"It's just that, I feel like everything's happening too fast," he replied, finally managing to get his tears under control.

"Matt!" I laughed, "I'm living like thirty minutes away from you! I can come home just about anytime I want! It's gonna be okay!" I reassured him.

He smiled at the idea of that before Anna decided to step into the conversation.

"Okay Matt! I think it's time to go home. Let's give her some time to unpack," she demanded.

Matt engulfed me in a warma and tight hug that only brothers can give. It felt nice to have him hug me. It kind of felt reassuring and it couldn't of came at a better time.

"Bye Camdyn," they both spoke in sync before exiting the room.

**

I had almost unpacked all of my things. All I had left to do was my bed that was easy. I had gotten here at about 2pm and it was now currently six so I decided to take a well deserved break.

I stepped out of my dorm room, making sure to lock it before leaving. I was wearing some old, ripped jeans and one of Austin's Trukfit shirts that he left at my house and never remember to get. I knew it was a guys shirt and that I probably looked like and idiot who didn't know men's clothes from women's but I really didn't care. There was something warm and cozy about it. It felt like home. Well, as close to home as I could get.

I didn't really know where I was going but with so many people already on campus, I don't really think it mattered. If I got lost, all I had to do was ask somebody.

I wandered around for about fifteen minutes before reaching a bookstore, which greatly caught my attention. I walked in through the doors and headed towards the best-sellers department to check out their selection, which was something less than spectacular. I trailed my hand along the shelf looking for something to preoccupy me in the time I wasn't in class but was having a difficult time.

"The best-sellers section kind of sucks," A deep, raspy voice spoke from behind me.

I turned around to see a tall, blonde-haired guy with deep brown eye.

"Yeah, they kind of do," I laughed.

"They actually keep most of the good books in the back. This is mostly just for show whenever professors walk in," he spoke.

"Oh. That's..different,"

"Yeah. I can show you where they are if you want me to," he added, begining to turn towards the right of the store.

"No, it's fine! I'm just gonna grab a coffee or something and head back to my dorm. I have to finish unpacking," I said, annoyed at the fact that I still had more to do.

He laughed, pushing his hair behind his left ear.

"Unpacking sucks," he added as he leant against a nearby bookcase.

"It's so annoying," I sighed.

We locked eyes for a brief moment before looked away as a half smile appeared on his face.

"Well, I gotta get going but I'll see you around?" I spoke, rather than asking.

"I hope so," he replied with a smirk which kind of made me blush.

I turned around, flustered for no apparent reason and began to walk toward the door before quickly turning back around and walked towards him as he kept his eyes on me the entire time.

"I'm Cam," I spoke, finally reaching him.

"Drew," he replied, biting his lip before turning away and heading towards the back of the store.

I stood still for a moment, unsure of my next move then walked downstairs to starbucks and picked up a hot chocolate before heading back to my dorm room.

**

Once I reached the room, I unlocked the door with my key and entered, holding both my hot chocolate and phone in one hand.

There she stood. A short, blonde girl with medium length hair in the middle of the room, kicking boxes around with her feet.

I stood for a moment, my hair framing the sides of my face before shutting the door behind me to make it known that someone else was in the room.

She quickly flashed back around before a smile arose on her face.

"Hi!" she almost yelled.

"Hello," I awkwardly replied back, placing my keys and phone on the desk on my side of the room.

"Um, I'm Olivia! But you can call me Liv!" she muttered.

"I'm Camdyn but you can call me Cam," I quietly replied.

"Well, hi Cam! Now I have a couple rules that I hope you don't mind," she went on.

Oh Jeez

"What are they?" I asked, hesitantly.

"Well, first: Please respect my property and privacy and I will do the same for you,"

"Okay. I can do that," I spoke back.

"Second: Please be understanding when I have a study group or someone like that over," she stated.

"Okay,"

"And last, let's not be those roomates that hate each other and fight all the time," she suggested.

"Okay," I smiled at her.

"Okay," she added before turning away and beginning to unpack some boxes.

I headed back over to my side and grab the new comforter set and pillows Anna had bought me. I unzipped the case the comforter set and began placing the sheets on the bed and proceeded to throw the lavender comforter over them and tossed the pillows on after putting on the pillow cases.

I headed to the bathroom to get a shower and came out to see that Liv was gone.

I hopped into bed wearing an pair of black shorts and an old t-shirt and turned over, feeling my eyes become heavy as I slipped into sleep.
