Year 2013 (PAST) - Part VIII

Sinundo ni Marco si Maymay sa bahay nila at sabay silang nagpunta sa bahay nila Edward. Nakahanda na ang lahat at sila nalang ang inaantay. Si Laura ang bumaba para sunduin sila.

"Hey sister! I missed you already! And little brother, hey! I missed you too!"

"I missed you too, beautiful!"

"You're so sweet parin talaga, ate Laura! I missed you too. Where's Edward, by the way?"
Tanong ni Marco.

"He's upstairs na with Mom and Dad. Let's go?"

"Okay, let's go!"

Umakyat na silang tatlo at nakaupo na sa hapag si Edward, Tita Cathy at Tito Kevin. Nagbeso naman sila Maymay at Marco sa parents nila.

"Eyyy​! Nice matching clothes you've got there!"
Sabi ni Edward kay Marco, napansin niya ang magkakulay na damit nila ni Maymay.

"Uh, yeah. Thanks. Coincidence actually."
Sagot naman ni Marco.

"Oo nga, Marco. Nagulat nalang ako kanina pagkalabas ko naka-green ka din pala. Hahaha"
Biglang singit sa usapan ni Maymay.

"You both look so cute with that, really!"
Sagot din naman ni Laura.

Nang matapos na silang kumain, niyaya ni Laura si Maymay sa kwarto niya para doon magkwentuhan. Si Edward naman, niyaya niya si Marco sa may garden nila at nagkwentuhan din sila.

"Are you going back to Italy after this bro?"

"No, I'm staying. I guess my life's here now. I'm free here."

"That's great."

"How about you?"

"I'm flying back to Germany with them, few days from now."

"And? Staying for good?"

"I will surely come back. Maybe after a few years? Who knows?"

"So I'll see you after a few years, then?"

"Yeah. I'll attend UNI first."

"Goes well, ends well."

Natahimik silang pareho at mukhang nagiging malalim ang kanilang naiisip na usapan dahil sa katahimikang ito. Hindi na natiis pa ni Edward kaya nagsalita na ito. Sasabihin niya na ang matagal niya nang itinatago.

"So, how are you and Maymay?"

"We're great. Happy lang. Why'd you ask again this time?"

"Can I be honest with you?"

"Okay. Now what?"

"I hate you so bad, dude."

"What?! Seriously bro? What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"I'm damn serious, bro! I hate seeing you happy with her!"

"Is that thing wrong now, huh? Damn it!"

"You got her and I freaking hated that so much!"

"And then?!?"

"Damn, bro! You know that I wanted her so bad! And now what? She's happy with you??!"

"Aren't you glad she's happy!!? What kind of attitude is that!?! Tell me, huh?!?"

"I know I should, bro. Believe me! I try my hardest to be happy for you, for her, it freaking hurts so much!"
