(2 year's later)
Brantley's POV
I woke up and felt two small hands on my chest. The same ones I feel every morning. "Hey, baby" Amber whispered, excited I'm finally awake. "Hey" I grumbled in my low morning voice, trying to make myself move from the comfortable spot I've made in my mattress. She leaned up and kissed me, not long before she pulled away again with a little smile on her face. "Your pretty" I say running a finger down the soft line of her jaw as she blushed. "I woke up like 20 minutes ago, my hairs a mess, I haven't washed my face yet, I really need a shower" she tries to disagree with me so I put my tattooed finger over her lips to quiet her. "Did I look like I was lying" I ask her and she smiles and shakes her head no. I grin and kiss her forehead, pushing myself out of bed to go turn on the shower. "You coming" I ask, getting the water to just the right temp. "I'll be in there in a minute" she called out, messing with her soft pink nail polish that had slightly chipped in her sleep.
Snow's POV
My alarm woke me up, signaling it's time for me to get ready for work. But when I tried to get out of bed, two muscular arms wrapped around me and pulled me back into bed. I giggle and try to wiggle free but it's not happening. "Damn it, Gabe. I need to get ready for work" I whine and he turns me around to face him. "Well I want a kiss" he says in his smooth low voice as he presses his lips against mine. I don't let the kiss go on too long before I pull away and tell him "There, you got your kiss" and hop out of bed. He just chuckles at me as I go through my suitcase on the floor, trying to find a pair of my dance clothes to wear to the studio. "You really need to unpack. You've already been here a month and you still have all your stuff in boxes" he says, looking around the room at my two suitcases and in the kitchen where all my dishes and silverware are still in boxes. "I know but, it's so annoying" I whine, trying to get my sports bra on. When I can't, I look at it closer and realize it's one of my old ones. I frown. I went to dance school and somehow got fat. I start digging through my suitcase again to find one that'll actually fit me and when I do I slip it on and check what time it is. "Fuck, I'm late. Ya know what fuck makeup, I've gotta go" I say slipping my shirt on and grabbing my dance bag. Gabe, who's already out of bed by this time gives me a kiss, coffee in hand. "Have a good day. I love you" he says giving me one more kiss on the forehead as I walk out the door. "Love you too, baby" I yell as I shut the door and run down the stairs to my apartment complex. I get in the car and haul ass to the studio.
When I get to the studio, I unlock the front doors and go to the dance room to sweep and mop the floor before the kids get here. I pull my hair back and grab the dust mop I use on the floors. I mentally go over my classes to make sure I'm prepared for another day. Young kids hip hop first, then pre-teens and teens hip hop, after that we have adults hip hop, and pole dancing which is obviously just for adults. Around 40 minutes later I hear a few people coming in. I hug the kids and send them and their parents to the play room until the rest of the kids get here. "Ms. Emily!!!" I hear the familiar voice of my favorite little girl, Tinsley June right before she tackles my leg for a hug. I giggle and pick her up, giving her a big hug. When she unburies her face from my shoulder and looks at me her mouth drops open and she says "You look like a princess". My heart melts at this little girl. I'm wearing the oldest dance outfit I have with my hair messily pulled up and have no makeup on, and this little girl thinks I look like a princess. "Thank you and you look like a little fairy" I say tickling her stomach where there's a fairy on her shirt. I put her down and ask her "Where's your momma and daddy at" and she turns pointing to her mother Jennifer walking in the door with her dance bag. I give Jennifer a hug and after everyone's here I make all the parents go into the hall and I start the class.
I help Tinsley with one move she's having a hard time on until she's got it right and I give her a high five. "nice job, sweetie" I say and she smiles. "that's what my uncle calls me" she says sweetly and I smile and tell her "well he has good taste in nicknames" as I touch the tip of her nose and go on with helping other kids. "Emily, Tinsley's god father is here. He's gonna watch her while I go run some arrons" Jennifer tells me gesturing to the hallway where I'm guessing Tinsley's god father is. "Okay, that's fine with me" I say trying not to waist too much time that I could be using to teach. She tells Tinsley and she looks so excited which always makes me smile as I go back to teaching.
Brantley's POV
I walk into Tinsley's class place and I'm immediately confused. I thought my god daughter was taking ballet or something and this definitely doesn't look like a ballet place. There's graffiti all over the walls and quotes and character's painted everywhere. I can see graffiti everywhere but a few places that look like their not finished yet. Jennifer tells me I have to sit in the hall because Mr. Emily, I'm guessing that's the dance teacher, doesn't like people in there to distract the kids. As I'm sitting in the hall I hear hip hop music and I think it's safe to say that Tinsley is not taking ballet.
After about 30 minutes of sitting here playing with my phone Tinsley comes around the corner and grab my hand. "Come see Mr. Emily" she says pulling me into the other room. When she gets me in the room and I look up from my god daughter having a excitement attack I see a girl with firey red hair dancing turned towards the mirrors lining the wall. (dance above) She's really good but I hope the exact thing she's doing isn't what Tinsley's learning. As a finish she spins, turning towards all the kids smiling. All the kids and parents cheered but I was frozen. Snow
