Chapter 115

Kelsey

"We have to buy a copy of that single." Deb giggles but I can only roll my eyes. She has listened to the song one single time and is already turning into a fan? Way to be creepy, Deb, I think. She could be their mother for God's sake.

"Let's see if another radio station is playing it right now." She switches the channel and lands on Kiss FM. And there you go. The familiar voices of the One Direction lads blast through the boxes of the car. I lean back in the seat and try not to listen to it. Deb isn't a great help, though. She is humming to the beat and is singing on the top of her lungs. Yes she is creeping the fuck out of me.

"What is going on here?" Oh Nate is awake. No wonder. That poor boy is in same situation as I, witnessing his mum fangirling about boys that have the same age as I.

"One Direction is going on. You remember Kelsey's friend? He's in this band." Deb points at the radio as if the boys will jump out if it any second.

"Oh yeah. Niall's his name." Even Nate can remember his name. My family consists of psychos. All psychos, including myself.

"Exactly, that's him." Deb nods and smiles to herself. Better I close my eyes, now.

"We're arriving in ten minutes or so." Nate announces. How can he be so smart at his age? It's a mystery to me.

"You are right. We are." I turn around to check on him. He is staring out of his window, enjoying the view in front of him. He looks so carefree, so happy. He's smiling to himself and mouths the words to the song.

Once we've left the motorway and drive into the city centre, Deb is looking for a parking garage, one that is rather close to the stores and to the big shopping centre.

I can't wait to finally go and look for the bracelet I've dreamt about. In my dream Niall gave it to me. I can still remember every bit of that dream. He looked so incredible hot. He had his blonde hair hiding under the green snap back I gave him as a Christmas present and then wearing the white simple shirt, showing a bit of his torso, and his blue jeans - perfect. When I realise that my thoughts trailed off again, I sigh. I notice that the car is already parked and that both Nate and Deb are about to get out of the vehicle.

"You coming or?" Deb winks at me and I unbuckle my seatbelt.

"Yes. Give me a second." I take my small purse out of my bigger bag and open it. Once I've thrown everything I need in the smaller one, I open the door on my side of the car and jump out of it.

"Ready." I announce and start walking. When I'm standing next to Nate, I take his hand and our fingers lock.

"Let's go, little man." I stick out my tongue and tighten my grip around his fingers. He does the same and we both, hand in hand, start walking again.

"Have you seen, Nate?" Deb asks me, horror in her eyes. I look around but don't spot him anywhere.

"He was here a second ago." I notice how my heart beats faster and faster.

"I know." Deb is shaking and I place my hand on both of her shoulders.

"Calm down. I have an idea where he could be." I tell her and rush out of the store.

"Wait." Deb tries to run after me but I leave her behind. I need to get Nate. I pray he is there where I think he could be. He wanted to go inside when we walked past that store but I kept pulling on his tiny hand, dragging him with me. I had a mission, my bracelet.
