Chapter 166

Niall POV

Ten shows. Ten days. Ten different cities. Three different countries. It's going to be stressful but I cannot wait. We're all sitting around the big table in our dining-room and it feels like David hasn't stopped talking and explaining everything to us for hours.

"You can invite your families?" David suggests eventually. "I think it's a good opportunity to see them again and to spend at least a bit of time with them."

"Can we also invite our friends?" Louis asks. Everything is happening so fast that I can barely keep track. I mean, the tour is starting in a week and what if we don't sell out the venues?

"Sure you can. Talk to your people and let me know how many vip passes you need." I guess Sean and Darragh will freak once I tell them that I'm coming to Dublin. They'll probably bring a massive banner and embarrass me in front of everyone.

"Okay. Great. Thank you, David." Liam nods and looks back at the sheet David handed us before he has started with his "serious" talk.

"Zayn what about you? You're excited?" We all look at Zayn. I think he hasn't said a word in hours. Sometimes I forget how his voice sounds.

"Actually I'm concerned. I mean, what songs are we going to perform?" Oh I haven't even thought about that. The setlist.

"We will start with rehearsals tomorrow so it's good that you came up with that question. Think about which songs you like to sing and then we will decide as a group. I think it's important that you choose wisely. I think not more than ten and a few songs from the X-Factor days. How about Torn?" Torn. That song means so much to us. It brought us to the liveshows and we always felt comfortable singe those lyrics to an audience.

"Yes, I think that's a good idea." Harry nods and so do the others. Well, we already have two songs which are going to be on the setlist. That's at least something.

"Okay, anyway. I have to go now. Preston will pick you guys up at 8am sharp. Be ready and bring food. Not that you'll be moody and annoying again like the last time when we had to buy pizza so you guys would stop complaining." David gets up from the chair and grabs his jacket. "See you tomorrow. Please do me a favour and go to bed early." He raises one eyebrow, looking at us sternly. "Got it?"

"Yes boss. Now go home to your family."

"I will. I actually spend more time with you idiots than with my girlfriend and my kids. It's a shame." David winks at us and eventually leaves the room. A few seconds later, we hear the front door being shut.

"What if we won't sell out the venues?" Louis looks at me. Since when do Louis and I share a brain?

"Was thinking the same. Let's just hope for the best. And even if we have to perform in front of only a hundred people.. well, we will still enjoy it, right?" I sigh. I don't know whether I actually believe myself or not. I mean having fun on stage, it's kind of easy but when there's a venue in which five thousand people can fit in but only a hundred show up.. well that is kind of humiliating and I'd feel embarrassed.

"Yes but let's be honest.. we're number one on the UK charts and management wouldn't have planned a tour if they thought that no one shows up." Liam shakes his head. This is actually true.

"You're right, Liam. Let's think positive. Who is hungry?" I didn't have anything for breakfast nor for lunch.

"Best idea you've had in a really long time." Harry mocks me and pats my shoulder. "Let's see what we have in the fridge."

"I don't want to cook. Can we please order something?"

"Niall you never cook. It's either me or Liam." That is not true. I cut the onions once and helped with the noodle sauce last week.
