A/N: Usually, I leave a note at the end of the chapter, but this time, I want to say a few things first. I feel terrible for not keeping my promise. I said I would upload chapter 151 on Thursday but I was kind of busy the past few days. I hope you forgive me. I hope you don't mind that this chapter is quite short (I explained everything so just go back to chapter 150 and see for yourself). The next update will be on either Thursday or Friday. I beg you to leave me a comment and let me know if you like this story or if you think I should change certain things. I haven't really written the last two weeks because of exams but I should be back on track after Saturday.

Love,

Stefanie <3

Chapter 151

Kelsey

Not responding. It was the best decision I could have made last night after receiving such a strange message from Niall. I read it twice. And then again before I put my phone aside and got ready for bed. Niall made a promise. He ensured me that he would take it slow, that he wouldn't push me and yet again, that's exactly what he has done. What he did. Of course I feel bad but there's nothing I can do and for sure I can't go to that performance on Saturday even though I would love to go. I mean Niall and I are friends? Kind of.

When I leave the house in the morning to go to school, I find Jack's car parked on the other side of the road. I smile to myself, thinking about the fact that everything seems to be back to normal, which I acknowledge. I hate fighting with the only true friend I have and I must admit that him not talking to me, moreover ignoring me was hard to take it.

I hurry over to Jack's car and open the passenger door before I get in. "Good morning." I look at my friend and wave.

"Kelsey. Good morning to you, too." He rolls with his eyes and starts the engine.

"Thank you for picking me up." I grin. I prefer Jack driving me to school instead of taking the bus.

"No problem. So anything new? Anything you have to tell me?" He sounds as if there's something I have to tell him when I on the other don't have a clue what he could mean. "Not really. I'm tired but that's not that interesting." I laugh and shake my head.

"Yeah no not interesting. You haven't replied to Niall's text, haven't you?" Wait. I haven't told Jack about Niall's weird message last night so there is absolutely no way he could know, at least not from me. Or is he talking about the call or any message and not the particular one I'm thinking of?

"What do you mean?" I finally ask Jack, just to be sure.

"I got a call this morning. At five. Your boy toy was drunk and yelling at me. Then he said he's done and hung up." Jack is joking. He must be. But when I look at him, his expression on his face all serious, I feel like I might get sick any second.

"Chill." Jack laughs after what feels like a lifetime. So it was only a joke, a sick one and not really that funny, at least not for me.

"But how do you know about the message? I mean I haven't told you."
