Niall POV

"So boys, let's discuss the next steps." Simon claps with his hands and takes a deep breath.

Louis, Liam, Harry, Zayn and I as well as David and a few other people I have never seen before are sat in a big room, somewhere in London. The last time I was in this building, I signed a contract with our management and Simon, and that feels like a lifetime ago. I can't believe that we have already recorded an album, went to signings and made it to the top of the UK charts with our first single. I had no idea, and by looking to the other boys neither had them, that today would be day to discuss what's next for us, for One Direction. I'm excited and nervous at the same time about what's to come. What the plan is.

"I think you should start telling them what you have in mind, Simon." David speaks up, a smile hushing over his face.

"I really should. First of all, I'm more than happy to see how well the first single is doing. You're still number one on the official UK charts and I think you will stay there for a few weeks. So I was thinking why not taking to the next level. What do you say?" He looks at me, and I look at Liam for help. Liam is the one who handles those kind of situations best.

"Well, we still can't believe it that people actually like our music and have bought What Makes You Beautiful. So we'd like to know what it means to take it to next level." Liam finishes his sentence, and the rest of the band nods, including me.

"It means that you will go on a little tour before we release the album." A tour? Did he really just say the word "tour"? Simon must have seen our eyes widen since he continues with his little speech right away.

"We've already booked a few venues all over the UK and Ireland. And the official One Direction Twitter as well as Facebook account will announce the tour this afternoon. Ten cities in ten days. It's going to be stressful but believe me when I tell you that it's going to be worth all the effort." I'm speechless and I feel that everything around me is spinning. A tour means that he and the management believes in us and that is indeed really important.

"Once the album enters the charts, there will be more signings. And then we will bring you once again to the next level, but let's not discuss this now. I have someone I want to introduce you to. She's great and will be a great help. She is not only an assistant artist manager but will also co-ordinate stuff for you. She will be going on tour with you. Her name is Kim." Simon points at a blonde woman who must be in her mid-twenties or a bit older. She waves at us and I immediately like her.

"Hi boys. I guess you're stuck with me from now on." She giggles.

"Oh I'd say you're stuck with us." Liam waves back and so do Harry, Louis, Zayn and I.

"A few more people you should get to know as well. Here's Paolo." Simon points at a guy, also not older than 30.

"Hello everyone. I'm Paolo." He raises his left hand to greet us.

And that's not the end. Simon introduces us to even more people and by the end of the meeting, I feel like my head is exploding. A tour. We're going on a freaking tour.

"Okay I have to go catch my flight." Simon stands up from his chair and comes walking over to us so we can shake hands.

"Thank you, Simon. For everything." I don't take the man's hand but tug my arms around his shoulders. I feel a hug is more appropriate than just a simple hand shake. "No need to thank me. It's all you. You can be proud of yourselves."

"What do you say about the tour? You excited?" David asks us. We're back in the car and Preston is driving horrible as usual so I can't really focus on anything beside praying that we get home safe.
