Chapter 130
Niall
Thank God I asked Harry to help me clean up the mess of being my room. It was definitely worth the £50 if not more so I can now say it was well invested money. After an hour or so we let ourselves plop onto bed. I'm beyond exhausted and so is Harry. I bet he could slap himself for not asking for more money.
"I hope it was worth the time. If Kelsey doesn't show up, I won't ever speak to her again." Harry laughs. I don't join in. His "joke" sucked, a lot.
"Don't say that. I'm already nervous enough and Liam talked to Jack and he ensured Liam that they're going to show up." I sigh. I wonder how she'll look like. What she will be wearing and oh dear, I'm such a helpless cause.
"Okay. I'll keep my mouth shut. How about we go and take the bus into city centre? We have to find your girl something for you to give her." Harry gives me a poke with his elbows.
I get up from the bed and stretch my arms above my head. "Let me get changed real quick and then we can go. And thanks Harold. You're da best." I hold out my hand and help Harry up from the bed.
"No problem, pal. Go and get dressed. I'm gonna check which bus we have to take to get to Oxford Street. I hope we won't get into trouble for sneaking out of the house and "explore" London on our own." To be honest I haven't thought about getting into trouble for leaving the house without security or Davey.
"Let me ring Patrick. Maybe he can help us out." I suggest. I don't wait for Harry's answer and start looking for my phone. I bet Patrick won't say no. I'm glad David made Patrick a part of "our" team. We were first a bit skeptical but when we all went to Ireland, it was so much fun to hang with him. I can imagine him becoming one of our friends, someone we can talk to if needed.
I look around and find my phone laying on my desk. I quickly grab it and search for Patrick's number in my contacts before I touch the call button. Harry has left the room already but I have no idea what he is up to.
"Hello?" Patrick picks up after the first ring.
"Pad, it's me, Niall. How are you?" I say into the speaker.
"What do you want, Horan?" He laughs. He knows us already.
"Just wanted to say hi and what you're up to?" I lie and start biting my nails.
"You can't fool me. So what do you need my help with?"
"Harry and I need to buy something for a friend of mine and we thought maybe it's better to ask you if you can join us. I guess David wouldn't be so happy if we head out on our own." I tell him.
"Only if a cup of steaming hot coffee from Starbucks is on you boys?" Patrick challenges.
"Of course. Maybe we still have money over to buy a tasty ham sandwich for you." I know that Patrick loves ham sandwiches. He ate like ten of those during the time we were in Ireland and we only stayed there for two days.
"You're my fave. I mean Styles and you. I come and pick you up in 30 minutes. Be ready." Before I can add something or even say good-bye he has already hung up.
I put the phone aside and walk over to my bag. It's still packed from two days ago. I haven't bothered to unpack yet. I like living out of a suitcase. I pull out my favourite pair of jeans, my Nike's and a white shirt. Good thing I have more than one. My mum made sure to give me ten new ones before I had to go back to London. "I know you wouldn't buy them yourself so I did." Those were her words when she handed me shirts, right before we had to go through security check at the airport in Dublin.
