Chapter 150

Kelsey

"What do you mean?" Jack looks at me confused. Of course he is acting like he has no idea what I am talking about.

"Don't look at me like that. You know exactly what I mean." I give him a wink and cross my arms in front of my chest, waiting for him to tell me what I want to hear.

"No I don't. I've known Emily for what.. five years. She isn't my type either." Liar. Such a liar.

"And who's your type?" I challenge. I shouldn't have.

"You. What do you think? You've got a banging body and your face is pretty. And I happen to like you. You're ace." What? He is joking. He must be joking. I don't say anything, clearly lost for words.

"Now you're speechless, huh? Well you should stop asking such stupid questions." He laughs and holds his stomach.

"Got it. There is nothing to tell. In that case, I'm going to ask Emily. She'll tell me anyway." At least, I hope she will. I can't be sure, though.

"Do what you have to do. But I can already tell you that she won't say anything, because there's nothing to say. You're going crazy. But now back to you. So you're sure you won't go to that performance on Saturday?" Ugh. How does he always manage to change the topic so easily?

"Yes I'm sure." I nod, even if it's lie. Of course I am not sure. I just have no idea what would be the best decision, for me, for Niall.

"So are you thinking about telling Niall or are you just.. well be the mean one and don't even say anything?" Me being the mean one? I just want what's best for us as friends, or whatever we are.

"I'll message him tonight before I go to bed." I ensure Jack, who seems to be on Niall's side here.

"You've just got out of bed." Jack laughs. He is right, I still haven't changed into "normal" clothes and I probably won't, at least not today.

"Who cares? I don't. By the way, have I missed anything at school today?" I ask Jack even though I seriously doubt it.

"We've got a new classmate. His name is Philip I think." Oh. Well looks like I was wrong.

"And? That's all? Tell me about him."  That's what I hate about Jack. Every single time, I have to ask him ten times before he tells me something. That boy costs me a hell lot of nerves.

"What do you want to know? He seems cool. Likes to skate and all. We will go to his place on Saturday." What? Jack made a new friend? I'm jealous. Again. How is it possible that Jack has more friends than I do? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I mean, I am a girl, I'm social..when he is not.

"Who is we? I can't wait to meet your new friend. I feel replaced." I laugh even though I'm not joking. I'm just acting like I don't care when I actually do. A lot.

"What are you talking about? You're my .. okay you're my sister from another mister, Kels. I doubt any male person can replace a female one." Oh that is possible. Jack has clearly no idea what he is talking about. "Anyway.." He continues. "I don't know who is going but I guess some of the lads, Emily and a few girls. You can tag along?" Oh that's nice of him to ask me. "In case you're not going to London."

"I'm not. I'm coming with you. As your plus one." I laugh and stick out my tongue at him.

"We'll see about that. On Saturday." He gives me a wink and chuckles slightly. I bet he doesn't believe me when I say that I won't be going to London. And is it really the truth?
