Chapter 103

Kelsey

As expected, Deb was fine with me eating at Jack's place. I guess she has gotten used to me spending a lot of time there and trying to have some sort of distraction.

"I'm back. Thank you for letting me use your phone." I walk back into the kitchen and give Sara a smile.

"No problem. Could you do me a favour?" She asks and I nod. Of course can I do her a favour.

"Can you go and get Jack? Dinner is ready."

"Yep. I'll be right back with Jack on my side." I wink at her and make my way out of the kitchen and upstairs.

Once I reach Jack's bedroom, I open the door and step inside. He is on his phone, typing something but the second he spots me, he throws the phone away.

"Dinner is ready." I tell him and lean on the wall, across from his bed.

"Okay."

"Do you have a secret girlfriend I don't know about?" I joke and glance at him.

"Why? What makes you think that?" He asks confused.

"Because the second you saw me, you throw your phone away?" I raise an eyebrow but give him a smile at the same time. He can't fool me. It's pretty easy, I know him he knows me.

"I .. Liam texted me." Jack sighs and gets up from the bed.

"Why are you even speaking to him? I mean, I don't mind but still." Of course I do mind. Liam is one of Niall's closest friends. They're in one band. They see each other every fucking day and yes they do talk to each other. I wonder if Niall knows what his friend Liam is doing behind his back. I bet once he finds out, he is not going to like it. It would surprise me if Niall is NOT bothered.

"Oh c'mon Kelsey. He is my friend. And we chat about random shit. Not about you and Niall." He rolls his eyes.

Does Jack want to start a fight with me? It sure looks like it.

"I didn't say that you talk about Niall and I. I know that you like Liam but I didn't know you were that close." I throw my hands in the air and step away from the wall.

And it's the truth. Yes they hung out a couple of times, got wasted together and went to a couple of parties but I didn't know they were talking about "random shit", as Jack calls it.

"You're just mad that I'm still friends with him when you and Niall don't even talk. You know it's your own damn fault." I'm hurt by the words he throws at me, even though there's a truth in them. I am jealous and I wish Niall and I were still at least on speaking terms.

I don't have to listen to this shit. It's not that I didn't try to talk to Niall because I did, right then when he run out of that house where the party was held at. Right after, Tom lied by saying that I slept with him and that we were dating.

"Don't call her a bitch." Niall's eyes were wide opened and his hands were clenched into fists. I could see his anger building up inside of him. The way his breathing got heavier and his head redder. I had never seen him like that before, never. I was actually scared that this, Tom and him, would end in some sort of fight and by that I mean a full on, throwing punches fight.

"It's fine." I tried to sooth the tension in the room and between the two boys in front of me. Jack was now on Niall's side, his hand resting on Niall's shoulder, trying to calm him down in some way.

"It's not fine." Niall blinked with his eyes.

"I guess you didn't tell your little boyfriend over here about us." Tom spoke up and laughed once again. I didn't want to listen to him laughing anymore. I didn't know what the hell on earth his problem was. Yes we made out two times but that's it. We went for lunch but as friends and then we didn't really talk anymore. I didn't show up at his party, maybe that was the reason he was so mad but I highly doubt it. It's not like we were that close.
