Chapter 156

Niall POV

It's a miracle that Liam bought my lie. I felt so nervous while telling him about Sean's imaginary call, mostly because Kelsey was just a few meters away, hiding. She probably heard and understood every single word of Liam and I's conversation and I'm pretty confident that she will punish me, in her way. I hope she isn't mad or disappointed. I really want to spend some quality time with her rather than fighting.

I turn off the light and head to my room, just so Liam won't come after me to see if I'm okay. Once the door is closed, I lean against it and count to 10. I hope she's still there where I left her. I don't want to have to go looking for her in the house. Way too big for hide and seek games.

When I walk along the hall, I see a light coming closer to me. It's Kelsey. Just like I did earlier, she is trying to light her way to my room.

"Come here." She hasn't seen me approaching her which I use to my advantage. I place my arm around her waist and move her closer to me.

Before she can say something, I cover her mouth with the back of hand. Kelsey is just too adorable, the way she furrows her eyebrows together and giving me that pouty look of hers.

I lead us the way back to my room and can breathe again, once she is inside and the door's shut. Glad no one actually ran into us, even though we were close to getting caught. I was close to getting caught.

"So. I'm Sean now." She walks over to the window and looks out, just like I did before. It's still cool inside of my room, even though I feel like my body is on fire.

"Well, no. You look way better than Sean." I have no idea what's going through her mind. She has her face turned away from me so I can't even see her expression. She does sound "normal", though. There's nothing in her voice that would lead me to the conclusion that she's mad.

"Good answer. You know, I would love to punish you for using Sean as a cover up but I'm way too tired." So am I. It was a long day and wouldn't Kelsey have called, telling me that she's here, I would probably be asleep by now, dreaming about her.

"Let's go to bed then." I suggest. I don't wait for her answer but grab the hem of my jumper and pull it over my head, leaving me topless.

"What are you doing? Don't do that?" I look up and see that she's staring at me, better said at my chest.

"Doing what?" I feel like I'm missing out on something. What is she talking about?

"Don't play so innocent. You can't just take off your shirt without letting me know first. I'm not prepared and now I don't know what to do?" She can't be serious. I had no intention to make her feel unprepared but it's probably a good thing she is.

"Ehm the more important question here is what YOU want me to do? I can't sleep with still having a jumper on." I wonder what she is going to say now? I bet she is speechless. I made her speechless.
