I didn't fall asleep that night.

I think I may have made up my mind about Paul. Maybe. I wasn't all that sure because at six the next morning, Jasper came in to sit with me.

"What's wrong with me?"

"Nothing," he said, voice soft. "Edy, there's nothing wrong with you. You're human; human is good."

"Human feels stupid." I sat up and swung my legs over the side of my bed so that I faced him. "Jaz, I don't get it."

"I know." Jasper sighed and moved to sit next to me on the bed. "What do you want to do?"

"I don't know."

"No, Edythe, don't think about it. Just answer." He made me face him with his hands on my shoulders. "What do you want?"

I couldn't hear my own answer. "To get to know him."

But Jasper heard and he nodded. "All right. Get dressed. When you're ready, I'll drive you over to La Push." He stood and strode out of my room, leaving me on the bed, still dumbfounded at everything as I have been since yesterday evening.

"Edythe." He paused at the door, flicking on the light. "Go on. It's okay to want to see him - to know him. It's good. I promise."

All right. I'm the worst author EVER. I know, and I'm SO sorry.

But I think you'll find I have a very good reason for this leave of absence and not contact with Wattpad.... I'm self-publishing a series! The first book will be available on Amazon in a few weeks so if you're interested.... PM me and I'll give you the details!

As for my stories.... I'm going to do my best to update this one as much as I can. And I promised a sequel..... Perhaps that'll be out in a few weeks, too?????

THANK YOU ALL FOR STICKING WITH THIS BOOK.

The next update is on its way, thank you all so much for the love and support!!!
