"EDYTHE!" My best friend, Lily, roars, shaking my shoulder. "Team Edward or Team Jacob?"

"Team Volturi." I grumbled, running a hand through my thick, mid-back length, reddish-brown hair that fell in natural, loose ringlets. "Who cares, anyway, Lils?" I groaned. I hated Twilight with every fiber in my being. Lily is a solid Team Edward fan and her life revolves around Twilight. I am a loyal Potterhead, nothing was going to sway me. Yes, I have read Twilight but it was the worst thing I have ever read in my life. And I read 50 Shades of Grey last year.

"Come on, you have to have a favorite Twilight character!" Lily insisted. It was the first day back from winter break and Lily had forced me to read Twilight the weekend previous. I'm back to reading Harry Potter (it was my 34th time) so I could remove every vial, sickening thing I finished yesterday.

"I liked the twins; Jane and Alec," I shrugged. "I kind of wished that they got to kill everyone. Irina's death was stupid; I mean, what author only kills one person! What author doesn't kill an important person?"

"Stephanie Meyer!" Lily said. "It was so much better like that, not so painful; I still cry, though, every time I read it."

I gagged. "How? That saga is so poorly written I'm shocked at how many people like it! It just proves that our society is downgrading the works of art such as Harry Potter!"

"You can't tell me that you didn't want a love just like Bella and Edward, Edy," Lily rolled her eyes and sighed dreamily.

"You do know that their entire relationship was abusive, right?" I scoffed. "Everything sucked in that saga, I can't believe that you talked me into reading it!"

"It was not!" Lily argued. "It was true love, Edythe!"

"True love?" I scoff again. "Lily, they met on page 43 and first kissed on page 282! Hermione and Ron met on page 105 and didn't kiss until The Deathly Hallows on page 502! From the time Ron and Hermione met, they didn't kiss for eight years! Take that Twilight!" I whooped, proud of myself for remembering that.

Lily was use to my showing off (I did have a photographic memory) and she rolled her eyes. "That's because it wasn't love at first sight, Edy, Bella and Edward loved each other."

"Really," My eyebrows disappeared under the side bags that decided to go back into place. "It sounded like Edward was obsessed with Bella dn and brought Bella into his fantasy and it happened to work out."

Lily opened and closed her mouth, looking like a fish out of water as she struggled to find a comeback suited for my arrogance. She eventually stuck out her tongue and marched to her gym class as I got up to go to go to art.
