Days later, days after the Cullens have gone back to being 'normal', days after Jasper and Emmett cut the power to the school, days later -
No, no it wasn't even days. It was weeks. Months.
It's May now, I've taken more tests, bonded a little more with everyone because there is no way for me to get back home to my world.
It's May now, and it's supposed to storm tonight.
"We could just not go." Emmett suggested, standing by the windows.
"They'll come anyway," Alice said. "They'll catch out scent."
"Do you know if they'll attack?" Carlisle asked, leaning forward.
Alice bit her lip and shook her head, "I think... I think that if we don't make it such a big deal if James does catch her scent -"
"If we don't make it a big deal," Edward muttered, "He might attack anyway."
"But," Esme pressed, her hands on my shoulders, "He may not. If he makes a move, we just calmly explain that Edythe is Edward's younger sister and we're waiting for her to be a few years older."
Carlisle nodded, forcing a tight smile. "It's a plan. Edythe," I looked over to Carlisle for the first time all day, "Bundle up, it's going to be chilly tonight."
I nodded with a small smile and headed up to my room. I was in the middle of pulling my hair out of my face when Rose came in, "What do you think? Leave it down," I asked, "Or braid it back?"
Rose sighed and said, "I don't think you should come at all, Edy."
I licked my lips and said "I know."
"It's going to be dangerous," Rose said, brushing my hair back before braiding it. "Stay close to us and don't say something too dorky."
I snorted and rolled my eyes, "I'll try."
I am SO SORRY it took me so long. This is short, I know, I know - but more to come!!! I have decided on a love interest which I think you guys will like! Hint hint, it's not Edward - I started this fanfic with the intent of it being an Edward Cullen LS but some comments and rereading have made me realize I set them up for a sibling relationship -- don't hate!!!! Next updates are coming but I'm also going to work really hard on them so the updates will be slow. And if you want, when this is over - Ill even write a squeal!
