I Can Never Make It a Day Without You

Tachibana Yui's POV

Class 2-1

We're already going to have our winter break. I decided to attens cram school for the next few days to have myself calm and also busy. I havent received messages from Kyouya either. I looked outside the window and saw Sayuri carrying books. I went down to help her. Eih? Why am I helping her again. "Yui, thanks for always being there", Sayuri smiled.

Classes ended for this time. Sayuri invited me to have a cup of coffee but I rejected it. We both walked towards the gate.  "Yui, how long are you going to run away from your problem?", I asked irritatingly. "This night, Takuma-san's university will be conducting an open house. Go there and apologize", I told her. "Come with me", she grabbed my hands. "All this time, Sei-san was always there to solve no matter what kind of problems I am having", she said. I smacked her head. "Thats why you just cant let go of someone whom you can never make a day without", I bit my lips after saying that. Sayuri looked at me suprised. "I just want you to gather your courage and swallow your pride", I added. "You were the one who was wrong... if you have to lie... then you are given the permission to lie in order not to hurt him", I explained. Sayuri let go of my hand. "Yui, I really owe you a lot", she said then went running. I wonder where would she go right now. I proceeded to walked and saw Kyouya leaning on the wall. Did he see us? "Oh, Yui. You're already there?", he waved his hands. Geez... good thing he didnt. "Shall we have another round of confession practice?", Kyouya asked.

"Whatever you do, if you're honest, I guess she'll be willing enough to accept it", I looked at Kyouya.

"You're scary, Yui. Are you sick?", Kyouya asked. "Yeah, I'm sick and its something that medicine cannot kill. Its called irritation", I said then walked fast. Kyouya teased me and we had a race heading to the mall. We went to have ice skates. I'm really bad at this.

"Hold my hand", Kyouya offered his hand. Everytime you hold your hand out, I always hesitated. I never wanted you to help me. I never wanted you to be the one whom I can rely on. But can I... can I also admit.. that I need you?  "You.. scared?", he asked. "I'm not", I slapped his hands and walked towards the railings and used it. He just skated beside me. If I hold your hand, I may not be able to let go of it.

"Hey, Yui. Is there something bothering you? I'm a bit worried now", Kyouya asked. I bit my lips. "I'm fine. The cold weather is just killing me", I lied.

Takuma Seishirou's POV

Geez, I never actually thought they would make me dress up like a prince. We're selling princess and prince stuffs anyways for young kids. The kids were fascinated and rushed towards our booth. I was given a moment to rest. I went to take a rest at the cafe booth made by one of the science department. I was startled when I saw Sayuri running around. She's a bit tired now. She's also panting. I was about to stand when she turned and saw me. She rushed towards me with her ever speedy feet. Her eyes were burning. Is she going to punch me?

I stepped back and looked for an escaoe route. She's so near already. She spread her arms. What is she going to do?

Just in a while, I can feel Sayuri's warmth. "Sorry, Sei-san. I will explain everything to you. I'm sorry for keeping a secret and making you feel that I forgot your birthday", she said while hugging me. I chuckled and patted her head. "Sayuri, did you come here just for that?", I asked. "I did. I never knew there were takoyaki stand here and okonomiyaki", Sayuri said. I chuckled and she gently released me. "Can you forgive me now?", she asked. I nodded and offered my hand. "Shall we? Lets go and fill your stomach. I bet you lost all your energy apologizing. You hate doing that, right?", I asked. "If it'll be you. I will apologize thousand times", Sayuri said with her eyes focused on mine. I gulped and turned around. She really looks cute whenever she's serious.

Sayuri held my hand and we walked around. While walking, she stopped and pulled me. She bought a whole cake and we sat at the booth. "Let me sing a song for you", Sayuri said. She sang happy birthday and I laughed all the time listening to this tone deaf.

"Thank you, Sayuri", I said and patted her head. "Then.. you said you're going to explain to me what happened. Sayuri narrated to me what Kyouya had been up to. I never told her I knew about Kyouya. I guess I need a perfect timing to say that. "Then if he in case ask you out what will you do?", I asked.  "Come to think of it... I never heard even one confession after I turned Kise down", Sayuri thought.

"It will be like this again"

Sayuri, I always liked you. Whenever you're around... I feel like I can do things. Honestly, I always wanted to tell you how I feel but because of some circumstances.. I wasnt able to.

Will you..  go out with me?

Sayuri stopped for a while and just stared at me.

She stood up and bowed.

Then... please take care of me.

I see. So you're going to answer him after all. "Your tone is not cute at all", I commented. "And you have a weird choice of words", Sayuri laughed and spread icing on my face.

Tachibana Sayuri POV

Fake it... and you'll make it.

Yui gave me the permission to lie this time. I told Sei-san how I met Kyouya-san that summer and even how we converse almost everyday. He was just listening and sometimes crack a joke in the middle of mt story.

"Wait!!! You havent yet blown a candle", I noticed. I ran all around to look for a candle and saw very big one. I lighted it up. "Make a wish", I said. Sei-san laughed hard and held the candle.

I wish that whatever Sayuri will decide.. she'll be happy with it.

"Make a wish for yourself!!!", I scolded.

Then... I wish that both of us will find happiness.

He blew it even I tell him to change it again.
