I wake up and hear noises coming from downstairs. I don't get up because I need to stop stressing my body.

I pick up a shoe that's next to the bed and throw it out the door, hitting the wall with a thud. I hear footstep run up the stairs and I start to laugh.

"What happened? What's going on?" Adam asks frantically as he looks at me. I just laugh harder.

"Owwww," I say as I laugh. "Why the hell did you throw a shoe?" he asks after I've calmed down. "Well, I can't really get out of bed now can I," I say as I look at him.

"What do you want?" He says as he looks at me skeptically. "I'm boreddd," I say as I sit up. He makes his way over to me and picks me up.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask as I hold onto him. "Downstairs so you don't throw anymore shoes," he says as he walks down the steps. He sets me on the couch and sits at my feet, laying them on his lap.

"What are we watching," I ask as I turn toward the tv. "Hmm," he says as he flips through Netflix. "Supernatural!" I say enthusiastically as I snatch the remote from his hand.

"Avery!," he exclaims as he looks at me. "Hmm," I say, my eyes trained on the tv. I hear him chuckle as he gets up. He walks back in the living room with some food.

"Here, you need to eat something," he says as he walks toward me with a bowl of soup. I look at it and the thought of it makes me sick. "No, get it away," I say as I cover my mouth. He pulls it away abruptly and sets it down on the table.

"Sweetheart, you need to eat something, anything," he says as he walks towards me. "I can't," I say as I lay back down and close my eyes. I feel Adam walk up to me and rub my forehead.

"You need something to eat love," he says as he sits me up. "It makes me nauseous," I say as I look at him.

"What sounds good sweetheart," he says as he runs his hand down my back. "Nothing really," I say as I feel a headache behind my eyes.

"Can you get me some pills," I say as I rub my temple. "Yea, but you need to eat something. Seriously," he says as he walks away. I lay back down, trying to think of something I could eat.

"Do you have crackers or something," I ask as he walks back in. "Uh yea we should," he says as he goes into the cupboard and looks around.

I take the medicine and lay back down. "Here," he says as he sets them down on the table. "Thanks," I mutter as I close my eyes again.

"Are you ok?" He asks as he kneels in front of me. "I don't know," I say as my head starts to throb. He picks my head up and sits underneath it.

He starts to stroke my hair as a tear rolls down my face from the pain. "What hurts love," he says as he pauses. "Everything," I say as a sob makes it way out of my throat.

"Oh sweetheart," he says as he moves my body so that he can lay down beside me. He pulls me towards him and I put my head in his neck as I sob.

"It hurts," I cry as I fist his shirt. "Everything hurts," I say and cry harder. "I know love, you have to be strong," he says as he rubs my back.
