Adam hasn't let me go since Jake left. We've just been laying on the bed cuddle against each other.
"I'm sorry," Adam says out of nowhere. "What are you talking about?" I ask as I pick my head up and look at him but soon become dizzy.
"Take it easy love," Adam says as he lays me back down. "I'm talking about what I said earlier in the bathroom," he sighs as he runs his hand up and down my spine.
"It's ok Adam, I know your just worried about me," I say as I cuddle into him. "Yea I am but I shouldn't have brought up you know who," he says as he shrugs.
"You know you can say dad Adam, I was just a little surprised," I say as I rub patterns on his arm. "I'm so sorry love. I never meant for any of this to happen to you," he says as he closes his eyes.
"None of this is your fault Adam. I need you to know that stuff like this happened way before you came into my life," I say, trying to get it into his stubborn head that this is what my life is.
Chaos.
"I know I know. I just hate not being able to help," he sighs as he pulls me back to him. I yawn, beginning to feel the effects of the episode I had earlier.
"Go to sleep love," Adam says as he runs his hands through my hair. "Promise me you won't leave," I mumble as I feel my eyes close. "I promise," he says, allowing me to drift into a quiet sleep.
