"There! On your right!" Pierce exclaimed with a little chuckle.
She just finds it hilarious!
"Glad we found one space. Akala ko we'll just keep waiting there." Sabi niya sa binata. He held the door open for her ng akmang papasok siya sa loob ng restaurant. They didn't bother going to McDonald's anymore dahil mukhang mas siksikan ang parking lot doon kaysa sa pinag-parkingan nila sa likuran ng Chinese restaurant. Maybe they'd have to wait for 3 hours bago sila makahanap ng space!
"Thanks to my quick eyes!"
"Ahh... my brothers didn't tell me na mayabang ka pala."
Alam niyang it's rude and a little bit mean pero hindi niya kayang pigilan ang kanyang tawa. Pierce just looked at her with complete amazement dahil ito ang unang pagkakataon na makita niyang masaya ang dalaga. It's like he met her real self for the first time. Totally defenceless. Just her own natural self. Maybe I should do it more often. I just hope I wouldn't appear to be as dumb to her.
"Oh, nothing. Forget I said that."
"What are you having?" tanong niya sa dalaga.
"I'm having siomai. Have you tried it before?"
"I think I have but I'm not really a fan of it. What are you getting for me? I still can't decide."
"Hmm... what about siopao? Oh, you should definitely try it!" She wouldn't have mind waiting for 3 hours or more for a parking space than witnessing something she had been avoiding to see for awhile.
Her eyes are fixated to someone behind him kaya't napalingon rin siya sa kanyang likuran. Pierce couldn't help but curse under his breath. He is trying his hardest not to grab and punch the guy's face dahil kahit isang beses niya lang itong nakita ay hinding-hindi niya makakalimutan ang mukha nito. He's glad that after all these time ay tama pala siya. It's him! And he can confirm that right now based on her reaction.
Before she can look up to meet Pierce's gaze ay naramdaman niyang inakbayan siya ng binata. For the first time ay nagpasalamat siyang ginawa ito ng binata. They look so much like a couple. Maybe they really are.
