Len POV
I was walking back from the mini market. Rin forced me to because she has run out of orange juice again. And it's in the middle of the winter. As a good brother I am, I use my free time to buy her orange juices on the middle of this cold weather.
I was passing a small park and spot a little girl stands alone at a park. She sits on a bench alone. From her appearance, she's might 7 or 8 years old. She has (h/c) (h/l) hair, and wearing a warm outfit. Scarfs, coat, gloves, and boots. Well, she's a cute little girl. Hey, Avery kids is cute! I know I'm cute but I'm not a kid. Wait.. Is that tears I see on her cheek? Hm... I want to go home and enjoy my time under the blanket and listen to songs. But, I feel bad for this little girl. And I'm curios! I guess I'll just approach her.
"hey you alright? "
The little girl looked at me. Ah, so it's right! She really is crying. Her puffy (e/y) eyes looking at me.
"hey, why are you crying?! " I ask panicking.
"I.. I'm lost.. I want mommy!!" she cried harder and I start more panicking.
People around us start to stare at me. No, please! I'm not the one who made her cry!! I only ask her why she's crying!
"uh.. I'm sure your mommy will come! You just need to wait!!" That's the dumbass thing I ever said in my life.
"but I already wait for mommy! I want to go home!! I'm scared.. I want mommy!! "
I gently pat her head trying to calm her down. She starts to sob and I bend down to embrace her. Note, I'm not a pedophile. I rub her back and wished to her.
"hey, everything's going to be alright.. I promise.. I'll wait for mommy with you okay? " I pulled away and smile gently to her. "a beautiful girl like you shouldn't cry okay"
The little girl looked at me and wiped her tears away. "o-ok... I'll wait for mommy.. But I'm-" it didn't take her to finish her sentences that I know what she means cause her stomach grumble.
I look inside the bag that I carried. There's only orange juice and.. Some bananas that I plan to eat tonight...... I look at the little girl. She's pouting and holding her tummy in a cute way. I'm not a pedo!! Fine, I'm so nice am I. I'm going to share my lovely and precious banana.
"here, I have some banans" I hand over her a banana and she finnaly smiled.
"thank you nii-chan!!"
I smiled back and eat another banana. I sit down by her side in the bench. The weather sure is cold today. How long have this girl out on this weather. Where's her mother now? How can a little girl like her leaved alone in a huge park. Somebody might kidnapped her. There's so many kidnapper these days.
I finish eating my bananas and sighs. I hug myself and breaths slowly. I glanced at the little girl. She finished her Nana and throw the peel to a trash can by the bench. She seems cold too. I sighs and ask her.
"you cold? "
she nodded slowly and I pulled her closer to me. At least she isn't too cold like earlier. She snuggle more to me and I just smile stroking her (h/c) (h/l) hair. Where's this kid mother anyway. It's starting to pissed me off.
"nii-chan, what's your name??"
I looked down at her "My names Len"
"my name is (y/n)! Thank you for the banana. It's delicious!"
I chuckled and ruffle her hair. "your welcome"
"nee Len-nii, where do you thing mommy is? " she start crying again.
I sighs again looking straight at the winter scenery in the front of me as my hand rub her back "I'm sure she's looking for you worriedly now"
"(y/n)!!"
I looked at an adult woman that half running towards us. With (h/c) long hair. She look at me and (y/n) that's snuggling to me. The little girl look at the woman and runs to her.
"mommy!! "
I smiled and watch them hugging each other. Her mom cupped her face and hug (y/n) again. I stood up and was about to walk away but the woman pulls my coat sleeve.
"thank you for watching my daughter. I don't know what don't do if you didn't watch her for me. Thank you so much and I'm so sorry for burden you!! "
"ah.. It's fine... I'm just glad that she's back with her mother" I answer and smiled.
The woman smiled back to me. (y/n) tugged my coat so I bend down. She hugged me. I just chuckled and hug her back gently.
"thank you Len-nii!! I love the bananas so much. Their delicious!!" (y/n) looked at her mother "mommy, can we meet Len-nii again?! " she ask with a twinkling eyes.
"I don't know honey maybe he-"
"I'll come here at the same time tomorrow" I cut her off and ruffle (y/n's hair. "anything for a princess like her"
"thank you Len-nii!! See you tomorrow!!"
She run off to her mother and waived at me. I waived back to her and watch them walk together. Now.. I wish rin doesn't mind waiting for her orange juice more than a hour.
