Chap 2: Unexpected events

Yuri's POV

Me and my friends were hanging out at a cake shop. Sunday kasi today, and tomorrow, first day of school namin. "Ready na kayo para bukas?" I asked them, "Yeah." they all answered.

"Oh.." I whispered. "Guys, gusto niyo sumama sa akin? May kulang pa kasi akong school supplies so I need to buy na for tomorrow. Last day na rin naman ng vacation natin eh, let's enjoy this day!" I said standing up and waiting for them to agree.

"Really? Sure, sasama ako!" answered Alessa. Tapos, they all stood up and went with me. Buti nalang, nandyan ang car ni Alessa. We went straight to the mall without any hesitations. Binili ko na yung mga needs ko, then naglaro kami sa Quantum.

Nag-window shopping din kami and we all ate at the Pancake House. "I had fun guys, bye!" we all bid our goodbyes. "Ingat kayo!" and we all went on our own ways, sabi kasi ni Alessa may dadaanan pa daw siya, si Summer naman sinundo ng kuya niya and si Sam may gusto daw bilhin. 

I got home and went straight to bed, it was already 7:00 pm. Kailangan ko matulog ng maaga kasi 1st day of school tomorrow, besides, kahapon pa naka-ready yung school things ko. 'It was a long and fun day' I thought as I lied down to my bed.

But, before I slept, I updated my account on Facebook.

Had so much fun with my friends. Luv u gurls! Thank you so much for this wonderful and long day.^_^  

Post! Then I slept.

KRIIIIIIIIING----!!!! Urgh-- my eyes are heavy, they don't want to open. Knock! knock! "Yuri,wake up! you don't want to be late on your first day!" Kuya Daniel shouted, "Yeah, yeah I'm up." I stood up with my frizzy hair, and took a bath.

Wore my uniform and went downstairs to eat breakfast with my brothers. "Tara na! Bilis!" Kuya Sky said outside shouting. "Parang mas-excited ka pa sa akin kuya ha!" I said, "Yes! Kasi maraming new and good experiences in highschool. Syempre may bad din, but you'll learn from them, I'm sure." Kuya Sky said, "I know, I prepared for that." I answered while getting my bag.

"But, make sure you'll study well, bago yung pagbo-boyfriend mo, bunso." Kuya Daniel said, "If there's someone courting you, kailangan ang ligawan niya ay si Kuya, hahaha!" Kuya Sky said teasing Kuya Daniel. "Kuya Sky! Let's go." I said habang tumatawa siya. Then, I went in his car.

'Ahhh--- Holdan Highschool..' I thought walking inside the school heading to the bulletin board to see what section I am in. "Yuri! Good morning!" Alessa said. She was with Summer and Sam, "Good morning!" both Summer and Sam said to me.

"Good morning guys! Did you see? We're classmates! Ayiiieee!!!" I screamed while hugging them. I was so happy because I won't be left out with no friends in the classroom. Then, we headed to the opening ceremony.

The next day, we had a regular class. While lunchtime, I was looking for Sam. Then, I received a call from Summer that Sam was being surrounded by bad boys sa likod ng school. 'Bakit kasi sila pumunta doon?' I asked myself while running to where they were.

"PLEASE DON'T HURT HER!" I shouted as soon as I got there. There were four boys surrounding her and they looked very bad. "And why wouldn't we?" asked one of the boys sarcastically, "Because! uh--mm-- Beacause you don't have the right to!" I bravely said, trying to hide my fear.

Binulungan ko si Summer behind me na kunin na si Sam and call a teacher, so they ran and I was alone there. Now, ako naman ang ipinalit kay Sam. They surrounded me.

'Bakit ang tagal nila?' I asked myself. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko, I'm panicking!! 'They're getting closer!! Anong gagawin ko?!' my knees are shivering from fear. 

When I was about to speak up for myself, may biglang dumating, I thought isa siyang teacher, but I was wrong. When he walked in, nagbigay daan yung mga bad boys. 'Siya siguro yung leader' I thought and I believe I'm right.

Mas lalo akong nag-panick! Ang leader nila! LEADER!!! I'm sure siya yung WORST sa grupo nila, "Stop it, you guys. Kawawa naman siya oh. Nanginginig na siya sa takot." nilapitan niya ako at humarap sa mga members niya.  

"Nakakainis kasi eh, we were just having fun tapos mang-gugulo siya? Tss!" his friend said, "Ah, so you annoyed them?" he turned his back to lean closer to me.

"It was them who annoyed me. Because, they were surrounding my friend. And do you call that fun? Yung tinatakot niyo yung babae, just like what all of you are doing right now?" I said looking at his eyes, "Hmm.. ikaw lang ang babaeng nagawa yan sa akin ah. You're brave, I like you," he said like he was planning on something.

"Be my slave for 100 days." he added with his voice so serious, and it was scary too! I was confused, he liked me, so he made me his slave?! What?! And guess what, I just realized that he was the crying boy in the park and the one in the bar, so I was totally fired up to know what's up with his life and attitude.

"Don't you know me?" I asked curiously, "No, have we met somewhere?" he was confused. "Never mind." I said, so he doesn't remember me huh? "So, would you be my slave for your friends?" he asked, "For the sake of my friends, I'll do it." I said, honestly, I was just scared that's why I agreed and I was curious about him, you know.

"Then it's settled then." he said while getting his phone, "Today is June 8 and your 100th day will be on September 16, 4 months of slavery. Hmm.. not bad." he said, teasing me. "Your first day of being a slave is tomorrow, I'll tell you the rules tomorrow too." he said while walking away with his friends.

I couldn't believe it, 'Anong nangyari? Ako, slave ni Crying boy?!' I was speechless. 

Hinanap ko kaagad sila Sam and Summer to see what happened to them. Hindi kasi nila ako binalikan eh. Nang makita ko sila, nakikipag-usap sila sa isang teacher, "Sir, we really need help. Please come with us." Sam was begging, "Sam, Summer! Tara na!" I said. While heading to our room, i asked them, "Anong nangyari? Bakit ang tagal niyo?"

"Sorry Yuri, pero walang teacher na nakikinig sa amin eh, what kind of school is this," Sam said, sadly, "Oo nga eh, at sabi nila wala naman daw bad boys in school, lahat daw mabait and gentlemen." Summer said.

'Talaga lang ah.' I thought. "Alam niyo, baka hindi talaga nila alam na may ganun sa school, but their top priority should be the students, diba guys?" I said, they both nodded. 

"By the way, anong nangyari sayo? How did you escape?" Sam asked, "They made me a slave." I said, sadly. "What?!" Summer cried, "They're horrible." said Sam. "Hayaan niyo na guys, kaya ko ito. 100 days lang naman eh." I said, hoping na makalma ko sila.

"100 DAYS?!" they both cried, "I'm so sorry Yuri, you had to do this because of me." Sam said, worriedly.  "Don't worry, hihingi ako ng help sa inyo kapag hindi ko na kaya, okay?" I said, smiling to them, "Okay, basta, always remember na nandito lang kami sa tabi mo ha.." Sam said, sadly. Then, pumunta na kami sa classroom namin, and there we saw Alessa sitting on her chair. 

When we were about to go near Alessa, meron akong nakita na group ng boys. "Yuri, classmates natin sila.." Summer whispered to me, "Hey guys!" Alessa shouted to us, getting the attention of the boys.

And when I looked at them, ngumiti sila except the leader. It was like they were planning something bad for me. 'Oh no! Baka kung ano-ano ang ipagawa sa akin ng leader nila sa harap ng classroom tomorrow!!'
