Chap 4: Sleeping Beauty

Yuri's POV

Ding-- dong-- I rang his doorbell, nandito ako ngayon sa Victoria towers, infront of his door. Then, nag-open ang door, "You're late," he said. He was just wearing a sweatshirt and jogging pants, and his  condo is big too. "What do you want me to do?" I asked, walking and wandering inside of his condo.

"Clean up," he said, showing his unwashed dishes, dirty clothes and trash to me. "Oh my gosh, hindi ka marunong mag-clean ng room mo?" I said, "Hey slave, just do what I say," he's so mean! "Now, do your job. I'll take a bath." 

"Urgh-- this is so disgusting," I muttered as I pick up the dirty clothes. I washed his dishes, did the laundry, vaccumed his carpet, folded his clothes and etc. It was so exhausting.

"I'm thirsty," I went near the refrigerator and got a pitcher with cold water with something written on it, but I didn't read it, "Ahh-- this'll be a refreshing drink," I drank a glass of water.

Phew! That water didn't taste good! But, man, he sure is taking a long bath. Then I continued to clean his things. 'I'm feeling kind of sleepy,' as I was about to knock on the bathroom's door to tell Jeyron that I want to go home to sleep, but I was too sleepy that I lied down on the floor to sleep.

Jeyron's POV

I was still drying my hair, then after that, kinuha ko yung bath towel ko and wrapped it around my waist, and when I opened the door, there I saw her asleep on the floor.

I kicked her gently to wake her up, "Hey, Yuri. Wake up!" and when I saw the pitcher in the kitchen, "She drank my water with sleeping pills," I muttered while staring at the pitcher.

Hindi kasi ako mahilig mag-take ng sleeping pills orally, so I just melt it in water, and yung water na ininom ni Yuri ay merong sleeping pills, "May nakasulat na nga na W/ SLEEPING PILLS yun eh. She's so stupid." 

I just let her lie down there and went in the bathroom again. I wore my clothes and put on some perfume. Aalis kasi ako with my friends, we'll party!

'But, what do I do with her?' I asked myself while thinking for a solution. 'I'll just leave her there until she wakes up,' I got out of the bathroom and hinakbangan ko siya para makadaan ako. 

I saw what she did, she cleaned my room! It was so clean, hindi ko na maalala kung bahay ko pa ba ito. So, I left her a note, 

Thanks for cleaning, when you read this just go home cuz i'll be partying with my friends............

That'll do it, I'm sure mababasa niya ito kapag nilagay ko ito sa dining table sa kitchen. Then, I placed the note on the table and left.

Yuri's POV

"Huh? Where am I?-- Oh yeah, I'm in Jeyron's condo," I stood up and looked around, "Jeyron?" I called him, and realized na wala siya dito sa bathroom kasi walang sumagot eh, 'Baka, tulog,' I went infront of his bedroom and knocked before I went in his room, wala naman siya doon.

Pero, pumasok pa rin ako. I sat on his bed and lied down for a bit, when I looked at the other side, I saw a picture frame of his family and the other one is him and Dienice.

Kinuha ko yung picture ng family niya, meron pala siyang 2 sisters and 1 brother. Then, may nakasulat sa likod, 

We were so happy back then. What happened to our family? -Mom

Then, sa baba ng note ng mom niya meron ding nakasulat,

I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean to leave you.

Iniwan niya mom niya? Bakit kaya? Dahil ba kay Dienice or may nagawa siyang kasalanan tapos hindi niya maamin sa mom niya kung ano yun. Then, I got the other picture frame, picture naman nila ni Dienice.

Tinignan ko yung likod ng frame, hoping na merong nakasulat. Pero nung I opened the picture frame, may nahulog na note, 'Ang hilig naman niya sa notes,' I giggled, picking up the note that says,

I love you, babe. What am I gonna do without you?

Aww.. so sweet naman, yun nga lang, break na sila. Sadness, I pity him. Iniwan na nga niya yung family niya, iniwan pa siya ng girlfriend niya. Then, I heard the door open, tumayo ako at lumabas sa bedroom, "Oh my! Anong nangyari sayo, Jeyron? I mean, Kamahalan Jeyron?" when he got inside the house, he was beaten up.

Ang dami niyang sugat sa face niya, nilapitan ko kaagad siya and inalalayan papunta sa sofa niya at pinaupo, "Saan yung first aid kit mo?" I asked him, "Sa top shelf, sa may kitchen," he said. And I also think he's drunk. 

I hurriedly went to the kitchen and got a chair, hindi ko kasi abot yung shelf sa taas eh. So, pumatong ako sa chair and opened the top shelf, there I saw the first aid kit. Pababa pa lang ako sa chair, ng may narinig akong nabasag mula sa sala.

"Jeyron?! Okay ka lang?" I hurriedly got down and went to him with the first aid kit. 

"Bakit mo ako iniwan? DIENICE!!" he screamed, habang nagbabasag siya ng mga gamit niya na babasagin. He looked so mad and depressed, and with his face beaten up, he looked worse. Hindi pa talaga siya maka-move on kay Dienice.

"Jeyron? Pwede na ba kitang gamutin?" I asked, habang nilalapitan ko siya dahan-dahan. Tumingin siya sa akin, umiiyak siya at may dugo ang face niya, I couldn't take it, niyakap ko siya to comfort him, "Bakit niya ako iniwan? Hindi ko kayang mawala siya." he cried at my shoulder.

"Shh-shh, okay lang yan. Everything happens for a reason Jeyron, malay mo meron pang mas-okay kaysa kay Dienice." I tried to comfort him, "OKAY LANG?! Ako magiging okay?! Wala nang mas-hihigit pa kay Dienice para sa akin," he shouted at me.

I got pissed and tinulak ko siya palayo sa akin, sigawan ba naman ako? I tried to comfort him! Muntik ko na siyang mahampas, pero pagtingin ko sa kanya ay nakatulog na siya at lumuluha pa rin, "Dienice-- Die--nice," 

Tapos, bigla siyang nagising and he leaned forward, BWOOOOOOOH! Ewww.. Sumuka siya, ang baho! Pero kahit na mabaho ay naawa pa rin ako, kaya ginamot ko nalang yung mga sugat niya at ginising ko siya para lumipat siya sa kuwarto niya.

Pero mukhang hindi na niya kayang tumayo kaya I put his arm around my shoulder and carried him to his bedroom, I removed his shoes and kinumutan ko siya. Then, I cleaned up his mess. Habang naglilinis ako, I found a note on the kitchen table and nabasa ko yung sinulat niya.

Naisipan kong lutuan siya ng chicken stew, pero, when I searched for ingredients, all I found are some canned goods. So, I invented a new recipe out of the canned goods, masarap naman yung soup na nagawa ko. Tapos, tinakpan ko ang food and left a note, 

Kamahalan Jeyron, I hope you like the soup. See you on Monday. :)

Then, I headed home.
