Chapter 12

Percy

I hated waking up on normal mornings.

But this wasn't a normal morning.

I woke up with my body tangled up in someone else's.

Whoever they were had their face into my neck, hair tickling my cheeks.

Nico

I sat up quickly and Nico groaned.

"Too early," he mumbled into the pillow, starting to curl up into a little ball.

I smiled and grabbed my phone, checking my notifications.

Stuff from Twitter, some Instagram likes and followers, and lots of texts.

I groaned and checked from who.

Wise Girl: Aye Jackson.

You know where your fling is?

His sister is going crazy.

Percy fucking Jackson.

Answer your messages.

Whore.

Answer me.

Pay attention to me.

I'm important.

You piece of shit.

Its only like, 2 am

Well I have some explaining to do.

Jason Da Bae: Annabeth is threatening to leave me childless if you don't answer her.

I laughed, not doubting it

Unknown Number: Do you know where Nico is? He's not home and its driving me crazy.

I decided to respond to her.

Yeah, Nico is at my house. Sorry for scaring you. I'll have take him to school.

My mom peeked in and knocked on the door.

I shushed her and pointed at Nico's sleeping figure.

She looked at him, barely realizing he was there.

She raised her eyebrow but shook it off.

"Breakfast is ready," she mouthed.

I nodded and she left the room.

Nico was starting to stir so I shook him awake.

"Percy, nooo...." he mumbled.

Finally, he got up and stretched.

Nico looked at his surroundings and frowned at one of my walls.

I followed his gaze and saw that it was my favorite poster.

I hadn't found the right poster at Hot Topic, so I looked up shirtless pictures of members from Pierce The Veil. After getting a satisfying amount, I put them all on one page on my computer and printed it out.

So it was basically a collage of beautiful bodies.

I started blushing and Nico poked me in the stomach.

He was pouting, which I found quite adorable.

"What is it, Di Angelo?" I asked, chuckling.

He looked at me and put on puppy eyes.

"You aren't supposed to like them. They're my band. Mine!"
