to the creator's works of art.
Can a sculpture grow?
Can a painting fly?
Even a book with all its words
only speaks in your mind.
I tell you the sod of the earth,
has more life and beauty
than any one of these.
Oh, but the men of science!
What about the things they have made?
They can save a man from the brink of death!
But can they raise a man three days dead?
And who can look at a smiling child
of only a few months,
and tell me your machines are far more grand?
