This is a hate poem,
Not a love poem -
Don't be confused.
I don't want anything I say
To be misconstrued.
I hate your laugh,
I hate your smile,
I hate the distance between us -
Every mile.
I hate how you think
That you're always right
I hate how I can't help laughing
At all your stupid jokes
I hate how you're calm
Whenever I'm trying to fight
I hate how we like
All the same songs
I hate how people think we're friends.
I hate how they're wrong.
They say hate
And love
Aren't opposites
And I call them crazy
But when I look at you
I'm really scared
They're right.
Because this is a hate poem,
And I might love you just for spite.
