When I am older/and when I am pretty
I'll have my own house/in the city
I'll still call my parents/but I'll be alone
I'll have my own kitchen/and my own phone
When I am older/and when I am pretty
I will be patient/even when I am busy
I'll always make time/for the people I love most
I'll plan lots of parties/and be a great host
When I am older/and when I am pretty
Everything will be/just as it should be
I'll have a nice husband/we'll have kids, and land
And it might not be perfect/but it all will be planned
When I am older/and when I am pretty
I don't know when/maybe like twenty
I'll have my own car,/my own house my own life
I'll be a good mother,/good friend, and good wife
When I am older/and when I am pretty
I'll travel the world/and I'll know what I'm doing
I may be small/but I have no doubt
This is exactly/how my life will turn out
