My grandma told me:

"Girl, you were born with a silver spoon."

Well so was she.

We were both born

in the land of the free.

But,

"Nothing comes easy."

You think I don't know that?

Just because I've never had to work

doesn't mean I haven't.

And I know my Daddy works hard

for my 3 square meals,

my own bedroom,

and my never-worn heels.

My face is clean and my butt is covered.

I can order my taters double-smothered.

My mom gave me a better education

than you'll ever know.

I can't cook clean or sew,

but,

well,

neither can you.

I can go to college if I want to,

or be a starving artist if I please.

Nobody's perfect,

but I'm not trying to be.

So I'll make that silver spoon a crown,

like it's meant to be seen.

Don't call me princess,

I'm a Middle-Class Queen.
