I am not at home at home.

I am at home at the top of a mountain that I just climbed,
I am at home biking down an old country road at sunset with the wind in my hair,
But I am not at home at home.

I am not at home tucked into my bed at night,
I feel at home with the wind rushing all around me,
knowing the storm is inches away but that I am safe and warm.

I am at home
wherever I can scream at the top of my lungs
And nobody knows and no one cares.

I am not at home at home,
I am at home on long road trips,
Falling asleep to the 90's greatest country hits.

I am not at home at home anymore
I want to explore
